• The mod system isn't "too complicated" you just won't read the descriptions of the mods to understand that the mod system is four functions and thats it. Do thing to make well Well make thing happen when do thing Do thing to be charged with light Charged with light make thing happen when do thing Bonus hot take if you Sherpa people by sticking them on add clear or whatever is the bare minimum role you're an incredibly bad Sherpa and teach people nothing.

  • Hand cannons are still too oppressive in pvp, arc needs a rework cause arc 3.0 is broken (most of the community complain about sg apes so they gave us a whole reworked subclass “hold w” great idea bungo), I really hope siva never comes back (at least not like how it was in rise of iron), zhalo > riskrunner, throwing knives should be able to be picked up (like the hammers), I want d1 yr1 iron banner weapons/armor back, we need the ability to change character appearance (even if it cost silver), and I wish that one day hunter cloak hoods could be toggled on/off.

  • Destiny isn't a PvE game with a side of PvP. It's a game designed for people who like both. This is why the game will never be what most people want it to be, and will always be missing something, or hampered in some way. The best and worst part of the game is the community, but the community is fostered by Bungie's behavior and guidance. It is unconscionable that Bungie claims the playlist activities are the core of Destiny, while they've also let them wither for literal years. So much time is wasted on "horde mode lite" seasonal activities, and the "core" of the game is suffering because of it.

    • Adding meta and 4th wall breaking elements to the narrative are a big mistake. We didn't need darkness powers at all, there is still so much to be explored with The The Light. Mara Sov, doesn't work as space Galadriel/God-Empress of Aowken kind. I've never once bought her shtick. It feels like both she and a writer are trying to hard. Season of the Splicer, wasn't enough. The crises that forced an Alliance between the fallen and the last City should have been expansion worthy. The Golden Gun, is a poor super in play and never lived up to The lore.

      • 1. That ultimately they are better off making a game that is fun, and reducing over all grind, while focusing more on the so called "casual" audience. And. 2. That they fundamentally don't understand what "hard core" and "casual" gaming is, most notably that they think either actually exist. They don't. They are social constructs and I don't care who that statement upsets. Bite me. There are hundreds of types of games in the industry ranging from shooters to simulators to platformers, puzzle games, button mashers the list is long and sorted... Describing "gamers" as "hard core" and "casual" attempts to enforce a binary system on a population that is very very much not binary in nature. Mostly the only people who believe that gaming culture is "binary" (casual and hard core) are the players who would describe them selves as "hard core" and the people who tend to do that also tend to try and enforce binary ideals on other things, notably things that Bungie supposedly supports diversity on. They usually do this by attempting to be the loudest or most belligerent person in the room. And.. 3. That by trying to be exclusionary and focus on "hard core" audiences Bungie has done nothing but harm them selves and their product, seeing that they seem to imagine that "casual gamers" are people who play angry birds and that their "hard core" audience are toxic *monkey fighters* that should not be trusted with dangerous equipment. Bungie put out a message about half a year ago providing resources to mental health institutions. Why did they do that? Because half their target audience are suffering from anger management issues and impulse control problems that are profound in nature. The state of Destiny's player base is awful. Truly, awful. And they deliberately cultured it to be this way.

Oh, here we go then - Community Management, so-called, care almost exclusively and exponentially more about the Streamer-YouTuber Promoters issues over the actual regular Community. - Bungie cares more about deals with corporations, Stadia, Epic Games, Sony, than it does about making the game in the interests of the players. - Instant OHK weapons shouldn't be in PvP. - Raids shouldn't disproportionately hog resources that they do. - D2 crutches on nostalgia. - Crucible is predominantly a cheese-driven party game. - Crucible will never change on that. - Warlock has fared worst, by a significant proportion, from 3.0 Light reworks. - Titan has been left to play second fiddle to Hunter. - Hunter has been substantially improved in PvE but essentially spoiled-rotten in PvP. - Bungie double-dips in the pockets of paid-up 'subscribers', treating them like F2P. - P2W is alive and well in Destiny 2 and drives it's marketing. - Soloplaying is something deliberately penalized just to rake in friend-referrals. - Class design was conspicuously juvenile and cartoonish and we're stuck with it. - Sound design is an unsung hero. - Emblems and Titles aren't worth the time and effort. - Gambit is one of the better game ideas, at least in principle, yet is the least invested in of all. - Champions have taken over PvE innovation and are little more than company loadout restrictions in enemy form. - GMs are glorified strikes. Might add more, but would be here all day 😜

Raids are boring. I tried to figure out why I never do them even though I have people to play with and I just don’t enjoy sitting around waiting for people to be ready, sitting around waiting for people to look up how to do an exploit, and then people just get annoying with each other. I work with well coordinated teams every day at work, and many people seem terrible at coordinating efforts even with a common, and rewarding goal, and I just dont have the patience for it.

          • My unpopular opinion or probably popular one is is that D1's engine felt much better and more real than D2's engine does Another unpopular opinion is that D2 is such a failure especially after they sunset content that all they're doing now is bringing D1 stuff back I'm so bored with this boring game, you grind for 2-3 hours to focus armor @ The HELM only to recieve like 4-5 shitty stat rolled pieces This game is a huge time waste with no real endgame to work on. It honestly doesn't matter what stats you have or which weapons, it only matters if you know how to aim and avoid bullets It's a boring trophy showoff game where people grind weapons and armor purely to showoff, you don't need godrolls for any content, you don't need triple stats armor for any content In the right hands a full blue gear loadout can get you to the Lighthouse, or clear GM's in a team It's all pointless as -blam!-, Bungie knows it and that's why they're spreading out that content as thin and far as they can

          • Champions are one of the best additions to the game and the limited seasonal champion mods are great. They make for a consistent test of skill for end game activities like GMs and the limited weapons force people to use different loadouts and are the key reason why sunsetting was no longer needed. Also people who main Warlock seem to be the dumbest and the most entitled on these forums. Which in a way is ironic.

Sparrow Racing was fun and is not a time waster for Bungie. They should bring it back. Unlike almost everything else in this game, it was lighthearted and chill. Plus it gave us cool sparrows and shaders. We don't need a ton of maps. Just bring all the ones from D1 back and maybe give us 1 or 2 new ones. Bungie could sell lots of racing themed items in the Eververse store too. BRING SPARROW RACING BACK

There should be a season dedicated to Shaxx and the Crucible like there was for Drifter and Gambit.

Cbmm is better than sbmm. This game cant handle sbmm, it was done in the past and destiny was at an all time low before bungie switched to cbmm. Not only that but this game has no dedicated servers, I’m experiencing more failed hit registration more than ever. Its so bad for me that I’m already taking a break from the game, I haven’t played in a week. Pve would be worth my time if I actually cared about it lol. Kings fall? No thanks I already did the raid multiple times in D1, I have no intentions of doing the raid again.

              • They should only nerf utterly broken stuff in PvE, and should split the sandboxes so they can balance pvp better.

                    • Streamers accelerated the decline of gaming. Streamer business model (which really is free marketing for a game) incentivizes devs to not make a fun, interesting game. Instead is better for them to make a super addictive, monotonous, hardcore grind of a game so Streamers have an easier job "creating content", which in return is free marketing. "Super OP new Exotic, must have" "Watch me drop a 50 KD with these broken exotic, get it now" "How to grind the new dungeon effectively" "New raid exotic is brokeN AF" Etc... It's not about gaming and having fun anymore.
