Everyone excited to dethrone the taken king? Best raid in the history of destiny. Bungie will probably throw some champions in this version

1 ReplyGonna be ruin by champions and taken wyverns

4 RepliesI hated King's fall. Wrath of the machine was much better in my opinion.

3 RepliesNew KF sucks. Was my favorite raid in D1. These small changes they mad even without contest the raid flows -blam!- now Brand stealer knights are unnecessary Warpriest reading change while not hard or a big deal, still unnecessary and feels more tedious and leaves more room for people to screw up Golgoroth forcing how you do orbs and damage along with that new challenge is lame At least Daughters and Oryx are ok But this is prime example of changing something that needed 0 changes. KF would've aged just fine. I love having the raids back because we never should've lost the content to begin with and having our games have as much content together to keep the saga cohesive is amazing but like. I'm sorry can we just not change them? We're already recycling so at least keep it the way people liked it. :\

1 ReplyThey should call it warpriest‘s fall since hehas more health the golgoroth, oryx, atheon, Templar, all the dares of eternity bosses and savathun (no buff) combined
-
4 RepliesKingsfall 2.0 is better than VoG 2.0, but I think Oryx should have had more hp and Warpriest less, it's really stupid then 2nd encounter is harder than the last one

My team and I tried it last night. I wasn’t expecting to clear it at all, we just wanted to go in and learn together. I never completed it in D1, and only 1 team mate did back then. I’ll be honest, I enjoyed the time I spent in it last night. We got to Warpriest and were stuck there for about 2 hours before we had to log off. We didn’t complete it, but I honestly had a blast. At first I was middle plate, and I was doing what one person instructed me to do. Turns out after 30 minutes of failing, what he told me to do was completely wrong, so another player took over middle plate. We ended up picking up on the mechanics and by the time we started getting him to half health each attempt, we were tired and making mistakes left and right. I never raised in D1, so I personally am happy this raid is back. It’s the one I always wanted to do because I’m a sucker for Hive themed anything and love the gear.

6 RepliesEdited by Haters: 8/27/2022 2:45:44 AMTrue destiny fans already beat this raid to death 7 years ago. It’s cool bungie added it to the “we’re too lazy to create something net new” section in destinations tab of the launcher but hyping up/creative marketing an old raid as a selling point of the new season of the [out of original ideas] is just another scam by bungje. Pretty obvious the destiny story machine is running out of fuel over at bungie.

Only ever ran it once in D1, was never a fan of the weapons or armour, 100% be skipping it..

After seeing the loot, which has not really changed, and the only things added in being two shaders and rather bland exotic ship and sparrow, I can see that the real appeal to KF is that direct tie it had with D1. Although the encounters were both fun and rather challenging all on their own, it wasn’t disjointed then like it is now. You could sorta feel the full impact of the raid from the point that you finished Regicide to when you went back in to collect the parts for ToM. It just doesn’t have that same feel now as it did back then, y’know?

Worst raid in Destiny history more like. LFG nightmare and no more self-res to crutch to save your runs.
-
Nope. Been there done that. Oryx!?! oh, yeah... That trax. Reprise/reuse/ recycle ...bore me some more...
-
He is "dethroned"

8 RepliesI must be the only person that hates this raid

64 RepliesEdited by Sleep_Leveling: 8/26/2022 5:24:24 PMI’m never excited with recycled content. Been there, done that kinda thing. If this is the best they can do, and these guys are supposed to be known as the makers of Halo, and the best they could do now is recycle 7 year old content? Nope, not excited at all. More like disappointed. After Halo, the company is a disappointment if this is the best they could do. Creativity is dead.

-
1 ReplyMore recycled content. Imagine bringing back a 6 year old raid...
-
5 RepliesI mean it is the best…. But we’ve already played it. Why is everyone happy with zero new content?
-
4 RepliesOpinions will vary on what "is the best raid in history". Personally, I'm tired of Bungie ruining the experience of what D1 raids offered bringing them into D2. It's why I will never run any of them. It's like how 343 screwed up Halo Reach in MCC adjusting things to their liking. Some things should be left alone.

Best raid ummm no its not!!
-
3 RepliesI was hoping for Wrath tbh. King’s Fall was a slog full of garbage loot. Maybe the reprised weapons will be better at least.

Edited by Astrosa: 8/27/2022 8:25:09 AMStarted afew hours ago Got to war priest and it’s been fun Not much changed, but it’s still challenging and fun. The three shreks in the first encounter made us get gud
-
After the lame AF Vow raid it's nice to have a good raid
-
3 unstoppable ogres and that was it
-
3 RepliesOnly champions are like 2 unstoppables during totems. Stop complaining, you sound silly
-
The length between entrance to Warpriest feels way too long. Even totems. It takes 30-45 minutes to even get to a fun encounter. The jumping puzzles get old after a time or two and when you have turkeys who suck at jumping it takes way too long.
