I have never once met up with family, celebrated family, or planned for a get-together on veterans day. Its not a major holiday and therefore doesn’t need that much recognition as major ones. Yes it should be recognized, but by god thanksgiving is massive compared to veterans day.

Serve what? Most of the few wars we fight are the end result of a couple countries trying maintain influence over Middle East oil. The US has a fraction compared to the rest of the world and will play games with smaller countries because it can't be a superpower without it. Or did we ever find those weapons of mass destruction?
