Shatterdive + Glacier Grenade + Whisper of Fissures is still hilariously broken and a totally free kill
As my title says - Shattercrutch is still broken beyond belief and there's nothing you can do when you hear a Stompees crutch Hunter jumping above your head before he nukes you with his totally-balanced Glacier grenade. It needs another nerf, like a two-second delay before being allowed to activate Shatterdive after throwing a grenade.

Have you tried Backing away when the Hunter pulls the obvious move of jumping up and tossing a grenade? Like, it's powerful, but if you die to it... You probably deserve it at this point. You have summoned me.

You ever thought that the aspect that enhances the grenade gives it one more crystal is why? If you get frozen it deals full damage unlike if you aren't. Stasis is hardly used anymore one nade isn't grounds for brokenness you're just bad. Plus you play titan the easy mode broken class that can do everything you have no room to complain with bastion and Dunemarchers. I agree. I run stasis in 3v3 for this ability alone. It destroys any rushers or roaming supers (except dawnblade) and is like a small super. The only problem is that this is now the only good thing about a Revenant. Everything else is terrible.

3 RepliesI agree that Shatterdive is crazy, but Warlock and Titan have crazy things too that should be nerfed before looking at Shatterdive. Could also say that the glacier grenade is the only stasis ability (other than super of course) that Hunters can still use to instantly freeze someone. Seems like Titan and Warlock mains have a lot more freezing power in the stasis department. Hunter super and melee got nerfed into the ground and you want to nerf the shatterdive too? I’m all for making stasis absolutely garbage, but the other classes have a lot more going for them than Hunters do right now.

Here are some solutions. - If you see ice wall, backpedal and kill the hunter when he's recovering from the dive animation - If you see an ice wall, throw another glacial grenade at it. The hunter will die if he shatters them, or at the very least, be extremely weak. - Seeing a Hunter in the air is a dead giveaway. What I do is throw a glacial grenade at my feet, which in turn launches me into the air. If you timed it right, they will shatterdive right into your own crystals and kill themselves. - If he is aggressive and drops it at your feet to freeze you, try and stay airborne around corners to catch him off guard the nice time around. I notice you are slowing down to charge your Bastion in these clips. That is what is getting you killed. You need to stay mobile. When you are an easy target behind a shield, it's only natural that they will try and shatterdive you. It's a direct counter to a titan with a fusion.

25 RepliesAny class can use glacier nade and rending + fissures to shoot the crystals just as easily. Takes 2 smg shots to break a crystal. And titans can get an overshield from doing that. And warlocks can just melee and shoot. Hunter has to do the most to get that kill.

1 ReplyYour name is crutch meta 24/7 lol. Anyway, yeah that thing is still busted. The best possible solution is to only have the attack deal a max of 120 damage with a knock back effect. Without the aspect or fragment, it should only deal 100 with no knockback. The way it currently is, its a picket nova bomb with no real risk since hunters can easily dodge out if the way as soon as they shatter the ice walls.
