Leave anarchy alone!
Edit 1:
While many can agree with reason that it does need some sort of nerf, be it due to it not being available to many players who cant raid or its effectiveness.
But going by Bungie's track record. They will render the weapon useless, they have been repeating this behaviour for almost 7 years!
And that is why id rather they simply leave anarchy alone.
Edit 2:
Can't believe that i have to say this because there are a good number of stupid comments, i AGREE that a nerf is needed, i DONT AGREE that bungie render to gun useless. We know how they 'nerf' or 'balance' things. So many helmets, im in disbelief. 🤣
(Hopefully now people understand)

10 RepliesChill out, they haven’t even said what they are needing about it, don’t blow up the forums about shit we don’t even fully know about. Once we see the patch notes, It’d make sense for people to go ballistic, but when it gets announced and people going ballistic? Jesus, proves people crutch on shit like anarchy too much
-
2 RepliesBro you are such a crybaby. “Everything bungie makes is shit, that’s why I play everyday all day and worship destiny but act like I hate it to sound cool”.
-
1 ReplyThis is untrue one one account. Hunters. Bungie never really truly nerfs them or makes them bad EVER. The only ever truly safe from being shit is hunters. Mostly probably due to some baised pos in bungie thats a hunter main (eat a fat one ninjas. I can criticize who the -blam!- ever i want, including you. So you can take those little warning messages and get bent)

1 ReplyWhy is a nerf needed? Using it literally effects nobody but the person using it. If you don’t like it then you can use one of the other viable options instead The reality is that some people just don’t want others completing certain activities so will cry for nerfs for every gun someone else uses Ironically, the more people that complete an activity by using meta weapons, the easier it is for elitist to find a team that can complete activities, and the more likely people are to spend money on future content

I’ve had anarchy since day 2 of SOTP. Have not used it really until this season (breach/clear). I go for straight up huge DPS so never was really a fan. BUT from recently being active in these forums I did not realize the amount of people that crutched on this weapon. So originally thought it wasn’t needed but now thinking they should of done it sooner.
-
3 RepliesThey dont play their own game so they have no clue..they see the numbers of a certain weapon being used and then they just destroy that weapon..
-
20 RepliesFacts. Still sad about whisper and Sleeper. Nerfed because of a poorly implemented raid that ended up sunsetted and whisper was just nerfed for no reason.
-
21 RepliesYah destiny was great when Activision was in charge and then bungie said hold my beer. Look at where we are today.
-
1 ReplyGood, I hope they make shotguns shit in pvp. 🤣😂🤣😂

Edited by EnderPlayz_5: 7/4/2021 6:44:04 AMWell technically if they nerf anarchy they might have to change how enemies work in higher tier activities. The reason we use anarchy because we’re don’t have too many windows to deal burst dps on a certain target because the chances are high that you’re gonna get one shotted by a major or have a million trash mobs mow down your health bar. Anarchy helps us fire against an enemy we have trouble with, and forget about them until they pop up a barrier or die. The reason why I say that they should make a few changes to enemies in higher tier activities is because even with elemental resist mods they deal far too much damage. I know it’s the endgame but they could atleast reduce enemy damage by a smidge or they could find some ways to give use more windows for dealing damage. Also, we don’t even know how they’ll nerf it. We just need to hope it’s not too drastic so as to make it unusable

They haven’t even done anything to it yet. Calm down.
-
1 ReplyStop crying about nerfs
-
11 RepliesTalented game developers would be able to use their skills and experience to carefully balance OP weapons and abilities... Incompetent devs would smash every OP weapon or ability into the ground From experience, Bungie usually falls into the latter category
-
3 RepliesB…B…But…the numbers. What about the data?! Our spreadsheet tells us people use it. THINK ABOUT THE SPREADSHEETS
-
2 RepliesPerfect title, op. Hopefully a Ninja mod doesn't nuke this thread, like the Suns did the Clippers..
-
16 RepliesIt's getting nerfed because we use it literally everywhere WE KNEW THIS WAS COMING.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Darth Derrr (Defiled): 7/4/2021 12:42:11 AMI understand your post. I hope their nerf is not too hard. Edit: autocorrect tried to make "nerf" "need" LOL
-
1 ReplyThey need to at least buff a bunch of other exotics for dps then. The game doesn’t need to be easy but I also don’t want the game to be like launch in 2017 either.
-
1 ReplyNot feeling down on anarchy nerf, it was on every corner in any activity. But that is coming from somebody that doesn't have it lol
whiterhoard user
-
2 RepliesEdited by GaiusLucius: 7/4/2021 5:33:23 AMI do agree it should be left alone.
-
It was going to happen at some point; many people saw this coming. Personally, I'm satisfied with the fact that it went this long before finally getting addressed (probably longer than any other weapon/armor piece thus far). As far as the nerf goes, I'd like to see what they plan to change before I consider the quality of the nerf.
-
34 RepliesAnarchy is overrated and deserves a nerf, I intentionally try to avoid it because it makes the game a snooze fest. Only crutches complain. Just use witherhoard if you need tick damage.
-
4 RepliesHow funny would it be if the community numbers dropped after nerfing anarchy lol
-
1 ReplyI can understand the reason for nerfing Anarchy. It currently feels like the only top tier dps strategy worth using in so many builds, but many players can't raid, therefore many players don't have access to it. I can, unfortunately, agree that it needs a nerf. However, the title of this post is true. I do not trust Bungie to simply "nerf" it. According to their track record, they are going to over nerf it and make it absolutely garbage and not worth using ever again. Then months down the line they'll see it has such low usage and wonder why they even keep it in the game.
-
1 ReplyYup, the only fun heavy weapon, mainly for solo players aswell, will be completely trash in a bit. If Bungie just nerfed weapons carefully and only a tad, noone would complain.

Rhen bungo should add more stuff we could like instend of nerfiing one single gun to the ground
