I'm a completely new player in this series and regretfully I joined right in the aftermath of the bad decisions Bungie have made. They've taken the game in a terrible direction and there's really nothing I can say that hasn't already been said by about 99% of the playerbase. Screw sunsetting, screw being forced to use gear and weapons I don't want to etc etc. Oh, and screw "games as a service" live-service online-only nonsense. Until Bungie finally wakes up, go play [i]real games[/i] like God of War, Zelda or heck, even CoD.
