Stasis should just be a pve only sub class. It has no place in pvp and because surprise surprise it was to powerful in crucible, pve players gets effected by it. It will be way easier to manage and balance stasis and its alternate abilities when it is a pve only class.
But since Bungie doesn't think and doesn't listen to their players, it will still be a problem in crucible.

2 RepliesEver since the Warlock nerf, it's actually more balanced. Example/Solution: FOCUS FIRE!!!!!!!
-
5 RepliesJust remove all subclasses and abilities from pvp. Problem solved.
-
Oh just stop. If you’re having issues, learn a work around.
-
Adapt! Learn new ways to counter. You can do it!
-
Uh no. This is a game about space magic. If you can’t handle that, you need to play something else.
-
3 RepliesThe stasis nerfs only affect pvp. Freezing via grenades/warlock aspect remain unchanged in pve.

1 ReplyFace it the old supers have been sunset, I made a spectral blade explode in ice the other night with my Titan stasis super, it was funny as hell, most old supers are irrelevant

21 RepliesStasis is turning out to be just the kick in the pants that PvP needed. With the new subclasses and the fact that more weapon archetypes are viable than pretty much ever, PvP is just about the best its ever been in D2. I know it sounds crazy but if you don't like it, you really should actually try to play from the perspective of what it is now. Other supers are starting to show up again. Titans supers seem to do very well, dawnblade is still dawnblade, and spectral blades can still travel from one spawn to the other getting kills. The only difference now is that Stasis makes it so you can punish people for getting greedy. They have to think a little more about when to apply the cheese. It's honestly a really Destiny answer to the Destiny problems that PvP can have at times. Plus if you aren't enjoying the gunplay this season then that's just strange because again, its pretty much the best its been in D2. Just actually give Stasis a chance. It wasn't something they just threw into PvP without playtesting it and tbh either they put a lot of energy into smoothing out some of PvP's rough edges or the fact that they had to put stasis in the game caused them to end up smoothing those edges out. Either way PvP, or at least 6v6 is working much better for me so far. Its the beginning of the season so it could all change but Stasis is a home run if you just accept it and adapt to it.

2 RepliesPvp has been shit for months, stasis just makes it fun which is what it needed.
-
Too late for that now man.

6 RepliesEdited by Fate: 11/25/2020 2:22:16 PMBungie should just get rid of pvp all together nothing but cheaters and whiners in it anyway
-
*TOO (powerful), *GET AFFECTED, *IT'S, *SUB-CLASS Anyway, zero chance of that happening Kiddo. Personally, I can't wait for the Stasis sponsored Iron Banner on December 8th. Only 12 days to go. You should probably hit the books while you wait
-
2 RepliesOr, remove crucible. Then sandbox doesn't have to worry about pvp nerfing everything.

4 RepliesI think a Stasis-free mode amongst the other Stasis modes is a must. At least for now anyone not having Stasis is at a deliberate disadvantage ; it's P2W. So for those players as well as those who prefer gunplay and gameplay over push-button wins it would be a haven. Doubtless that won't happen as Bungie have decided upon P2W as their way forward.

"Whatever you believe about stasis, it's part of our arsenal now..." Shaxx seems fine with it 🤷♂️

D2 is a space game.....stasis is space magic.....that’s what makes D2 pvp different . D2 has lots of space magic which makes crazy but fun. I’ve tried other pvp games...gets boring quickly .
-
I've actually been doin way better because of it. I hope nobody realizes just how much stronger the other subs are.
-
🎶 Let it go 🎶

I'm perfectly fine with stasis existing in crucible. I just think freeze should only be available to supers. Everything else should be slow imo.
side note: Fck duskfield grenades. They pull you in, slow you down and you cant sprint/slide /dodge out of them. Stay in them too long trying to kill the person who put you in there and you get frozen
2 RepliesThat’s not how this works. Remember when they added storm caller hammers and night stalker? Everyone was saying the same thing as you now. But look at where things have ended up? Would the game be even close to as good as it is now if they were just like yeah well just completely removed this subclass from pvp. You gotta realize this is just the beginning. There’s going to be 2 more dark subclasses coming. Embrace the change. The game can’t stay the same forever.

3 RepliesI have no dog in the fight but I am going to play devils advocate here.. 1. It is bungies game. Do or do not belong is up to them solely. 2. I think it needs to be encouraged with feedback due to the obvious direction they are going. 3. The game was stale. Very stale. With team shooting, hand cannons, snipers, shotguns, stompees... etc etc etc The GAME needs a new direction that identifies it. See... pve is the game. PvP is the players vs players using everything in the game. Bungie need to focus on iq builds more per sub classes. Counter builds that have positive negative effects against each other. You may not like it.... but the other way has been tried and tested for x amount of years now and with not much success. Normal PvP and trials should be about everything in the game. I think bungie needs a purest PvP FPS weapons mode where gun skill and positioning is the focus. So those players have a place to play My long winded point is, bungie HAS to experiment for the good of the game and to find an identity for their cohesive pve/PvP modes. Just like all other mmorpg games. You do not go into world of Warcraft to grind your a$$ off to use it in just one mode. I get you are asking to take away the freezing... I agree... but I would agree more that sub classes should counter sub classes. Just like elemental weapons do more damage against the correspond elemental subclass during a super... My solar class should not get frozen etc... Tone down abilities? yes.. so that normal PvP modes are not mayhem... but to just take away, to me, negates this games direction. That is my two cents.

2 RepliesDestiny pvp is not and never will be a truly competitive section. The Crucible is a party game basically, play it like you would play halo and don't take matches too seriously.
-
Ok so I kinda agree with you. Stasis needs to be locked out of trials and comp.
-
Agreed buddy

Or, and hear me out on this one, just ada- are you wearing a nappy? Okay try not to poop yourself.. Just adapt to the ever slight change in playstyle needed to still perform as good as you were before stasis in pvp. It's genuinely not hard.
