Iron banmer used to be fun for people of all ages. My kid cant even have fun in iron banner. I went in to play for her and i literally went through 3 matches that were called early because we got paired up with stacks or trials players. Please fix this not only for people who enjoy the game as a hobby but, people who let their kids play too.
Please match peoples skills.

1 ReplyI have 6 kids. Before they could walk I put a controller on each of their hands and they wouldn’t get dinner until they got “we ran”s. All except one have been training since d1 and none of them were given names before getting the flawless title. They have trained their entire lives to reach the day when they could run a six stack in iron banner. Your tellling me you would spit on all six of their dreams for a hobby?

1 ReplyOP, completely agree. This game mode is not playable from the average player to the casual newbie. What’s worse are the players that are just out to prove something to themselves or this community. Thumbs down to those of you just adding to the madness. So I stopped playing ANYTHING crucible, and you know what? Much happier for it!

I haven't played in a while and I always love IB. I played 4 games. First three games were mercies for the other team. Last game was a mercy for my team. Shut the PS4 off and did something else.
-
1 ReplyAlmost every IB match i'm in end in a mercy. Sometimes in my favor, sometimes against. Can't see how people have fun with this.
-
1 ReplyAgreed. They ruined the last enjoyable PvP activity for casuals. There is no part of the shambles that is current IB in D2 that is preferable to Destiny 1 version They just need to go back to exactly how it was in D1 i.e mainly SBMM with 2 weapons and 2 armor pieces rotating per event, plus chances at the others via bounties & after-match drops. There is an existing template for a far superior Iron Banner experience and they already own it...

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - old
The only real option left is to stop playing Iron Banner. I used to play every IB. I've stopped playing PvP altogether. -
2 RepliesBut when bungie switched to sbmm everyone complained, IB is a sweat fest don’t get me wrong. I strongly believe that flawless title earners should only play other flawless title earners, you wanna show up and be the best? Good you can show up and play the best.
-
2 RepliesSBMM has pros and cons but in destiny cons out do the pros. What they need is the ability to toggle it on or off or have a solo queue. No one wants to get swept by teams but also I don’t want every game I play too feel like an absolute sweat fest...
-
12 RepliesSkill based match making should not be in this game. I know it’s not in banner but y’all little cry babies need to stop asking for it 👍
-
I definitely see your struggle with this problem, but that’s why they are implementing IB freelance next season. For the time being however, you just have to understand that this game can’t change to fit your needs. It can’t exclude a certain group of good players (flawless titles, as u said) bc then how do u expect them to ever have fun when they have to sweat every one of their matches.
-
4 RepliesI disagree, IB has been bad throughout the entirety of D2
-
Iron banner was really only fun in D1
-
*Looks over with head in a noose* First time?
-
Let Bungie know how you feel by refusing to play. They don’t care about your individual opinion, but they do act when player numbers start to tank.
-
I only do IB to get the four bounties. Then I move to the other Crucible modes which are quite enjoyable this week since all flawless/unbroken/cheaters are in IB
-
My Nan was playing against you.
-
Strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
-
In D1, IB was one of my favorite events. Rarely go near it in D2.
-
IB really has never been enjoyable. It’s been a bad experience since back in D1. CBMM vas SBMM makes basically no difference whether you believe it does or not.
-
I seriously have to agree it is terrible for all the pve players you need skills base brought back this is crazy can’t even win a game.
-
It never was, and never will be. Lazy reskinned loot, always the same mode, no team balancing at all, people quitting because getting slaughtered for a few tokens isn't fun etc
-
1 ReplyNext season is Freelance. Thank you very much.

Somehow, I disagree. I played IB last weekend with my friend and had a lot of fun. We even used year one weapon from the collection and random blue armor to drop down our power level. And still I can enjoy this. Somehow random shotgun from year one was equal to Mindbender and Felwinter. And my 15 resilience, recovery and 30 intellect wan't a problem at all. So...maybe IB not so bad after all? Or maybe all tryhards played it few days after reset for bounties and then quit and we have a chance to play with normal people?

If you want a game to play with your kid, play Minecraft dungeon.

2 RepliesWhy is comp so sweaty all of a sudden? It used to be fun and somewhat enjoyable but now all I get are try hard weirdos that are all rank 5500 while I’m sub par 3500... I should not be playing these kids
