The world would be a much better place if we could all just get over ourselves and stop being babies about everything. The reason why I have pretty much given up on caring about anything is because I don’t feel that I’ve been given a good enough reason to actually care. Everybody seems to want to blame each other for everything just because they can, when they should be working to solve problems together. I don’t even watch the news because whenever I look at the TV screen it’s always the same googoogaga baby whining blame game that we all seem to thrive on for some reason. It seems like we are the most divided at the worst times simply because we don’t agree with each other about things. There are lots of big problems that we just need basic common sense to solve, and yet we cry and scream because somebody owns a firearm or because someone else has a rainbow flag on their lawn. We could probably get so much more done if we could stop getting offended by every little thing that gets thrown at us.
If someone straight up insults you, don’t sink down to their level.
If someone is just making a joke, don’t go off on a tantrum about it.
There are plenty more important things we need to worry about.
And Yes there are things that I can do to improve myself as well, but I pretty much implied that because I’m talking about all of us.

And YES I know that working together is easier said than done, but it wouldn’t hurt to try....... it shouldn’t hurt to try.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk I guess.
Well said. At the end of "The American President", there's a great speech on the subject of respecting each other's freedoms. I won't post a link, because I am virulently opposed to the end of it. But you can find it on YouTube.

Remember, your species started its downfall because your kind wanted to have more in life than perfection and paradise.

2 RepliesSorry, but that thing called sense is in fact, not all that common. Common ignorance, however, is everywhere.
