2 RepliesTry-hard problems. Only stat that matters is: Did we win? 0 or 1
-
4 RepliesGood idea I want to feel even more miserable after getting killed repeatedly by teleporting Chinese players
-
LoL who honestly gives a damn. Panties aren’t going to drop because of your KD.
-
2 RepliesBoth K.D and K.A.D are misleading, I could be the best player in the world and simply have an off day and do worse than a new player. It happens to all of us so looking at stats does nothing. What I focus on instead is how can I carry harder to the point I’m over 30-40 kills ahead of my team, that puts a smile on my face. I don’t care how others do in crucible, I only care about my own performance. Stats are never ever accurate and looking at numbers wont really help you improve, I don’t need a number telling me how good I am. I can see it myself while Im playing where I need to improve.

1 ReplyPeople think K/D is everything. I don't care if you have 8 K/D if you only contributed 8 kills by hiding in the back with spectral and revoker.
-
1 ReplyJust put both kda and kd in a match. So you can see how good ypu or ypur mates did. If you see somebody with a high kda and a low kd...it just means he was teamshoting. In some modes i prefer seing kd. In qp i prefer kd over kda. Where in comp kda is good to see if you were playing as a team.

1 ReplyEdited by W33DEDPLAGUE: 3/6/2020 12:54:19 AMIf you want to see what you did in a match, then you should be looking for more than k/d. That's the problem with people, thinking k/d always means everything lol. You dont think you deserve credit for getting damage on a guardian that someone else cleans up? ok then, you have a strange definition for "what you did in a match". The only possible reason for seeing k/d is to a. Show off or b. Trash on others or c. Both. Good for you.

2 RepliesThis game is trash

4 RepliesKA/D is much better to track since its your overall skill not just how many kills you got (since if a ally takes your kill which happens alot it will count towards the KA/D)

3 RepliesThis story is totally off the topic. I finally convinced my girlfriend to watch Xfiles with me. I’ve been a huge fan for a long tine and she’d never seen it. We JUST WATCHED season 1 episode 14, (titled “Genderbender”) and the actor who plays Alex Krycek was in that episode for a small bit part. I hadn’t noticed this before, and said “Oh my god, that’s the actor who plays Alex Krycek later on!” My gf asked who that was, and I told her I didn’t want to say anything because I didn’t want to spoil stuff for her. A few minutes after watching that episode and having that conversation, I log into Bnet, and holy crap, it’s Alex Krycek. Spooky.

2 RepliesI wanted them to bring it back too but thinking about it they did well with kad because it brings player numbers up. A bad player plays crucible and sees 0.5 kd at the end enough times, they may just quit. 1 kd on the other hand, they'll feel like they have contributed and maybe continue playing.

7 RepliesDamage > KD or KDA

KAD is misleading. I want to see -blam!- I actually did in the match.
Too many times in D1 did I have a player down to being dead if hit a wall and a teammate put one bullet into him getting the kill and ME with the assist. Nah it’s fine now
-
I think clan names and connection lines would be more beneficial. What are you trying to hide bungo? They used to be there in the past.
-
3 RepliesAfter D1 KAD has proved to be MORE accurate. The kd figure only showed who got final blow. Not that you'd stolen 20 kills or that your team mate had assisted you. You'll still get die hards trying to talk up a high kd but, in comp that's usually the guy who Leroy jenkin'ed three kills and doomed the team into a loss. It happens all the time in control games. The winning team usually having people with low kd but tonnes of zone captures and assists. I'm betting some die hards turn up to defend kd but, it's really only relevant for solo rumble and not team modes. KDA is what you want if you want to guage if Joe random has your back.
-
2 RepliesI don't feel K/D is needed because so many people "kill steal" then try to claim they're total gods at the game. Rather see the KA/D ratio because then it shows how good of a teammate you are in a team firing looter shooter and helps with toxicity.
-
1 ReplyWho cares. It’s a video game
-
I’d like it if they had it similar to the Gambit scoreboard, where there’s actual pages of stats to check

KAD is misleading. I want to see -blam!- I actually did in the match.
What’s Effiency if it’s not kd?
-
1 ReplyEdited by Cosmic Owl: 3/5/2020 6:11:35 AMMe too. It’s fine to have efficiency and KD but I want to see both. KDA (efficiency) is very forgiving and not indicative of how you performed as an individual. KDA lets you die more than you get kills and still stay positive.
-
3 RepliesAssists matter. You probably didn't do all the damage to that opponent you just took down. You had help.
-
So you can tell someone talking about PVE that they're trash because they have a .90 KD, no doubt. As that actually happened to me during D1, I would not be the least shocked.
-
Bring back KD endscreens Bring back loot endscreens instead of a giant banner blocking my view.
-
1 ReplyI disagree. I think its good the way it is, I don't think it's a good value to discredit assists. My rule of thumb is to just subtract 20% from the kda to get the kd. Some modes will give kills and efficiency so you can figure it out in your head if you're decent with math.
