Since day one of Destiny one the forum only contained people being annoyed of stuff.
Negative feedback is always a natural and needed thing in offical forums, that's why they are there of course.
But it's impressive to see that all these years since Destiny 1 nobody is able to see positive aspects or are able to talk about it.
I don't want to defend Bungie for their gamedesign but everyone is able to point out a list about things they like about Destiny, because if they couldn't they would not play this game.
Every decision bungie makes has ups and downs and if people tried they could see the upsides.
I love my current loadout that I farmed until I got my godrolles and now they are limiting the powerlevel so I can not use them anymore. It makes me a bit sad because I invested a lot of time getting them and I kinda got attached to it.
But maybe it will makes me try out new weapons instead of infusing one single weapon the entire game and maybe makes loot feel like actual loot instead of infuse juice.
Iron banner and the upcoming trials will have power adventage enabled which makes casual playes have a permanent disadventage. That means investing time > skill.
But I think it is kinda okay rewarding people for investing a lot of time mindless grinding for stuff.
PvP is at an unballanced state which is frustrating for people that play non meta weapons. I personally love to play autorifles but they fall just way too short against some handcannons.
But balancing is not that easy and simply buffing underpowered things doesn't solve the problems because you don't wanna mess up the time to kill at the end of 2020 (looking at the forum hobby gamedesigners)
The trials armor set is really just the D1 one simply recycled or rather not touched at all pretty lazy.
But it is kinda sweet getting the loved D1 armor back in D2
The trials set only glows for the one week that you went flawless in, feels like you have lost the achivement right in the next week.
But that makes it interesting getting flawless more than once
Please just try out getting at least some positivity in here

1 Reply89 of 100 like the game; only 2 of them come to the forum and say sth positive because its unusual to do that. All 11 though come here and complain. Thats why you never see positive stuff here.

I'll never be positive as long as Bungie tell me my Redrix has a shelf life. I love this gun. Its not meta, and I do well with it. This blows.

Edited by Artisan: 2/28/2020 7:51:29 PMThe truth is much more that here are the things players want to see changed. In some cases these problems will, without the slightest exaggeration, destroy their game for those affected. So there is passion and motivation for them to express critical opinion - it's a compliment they/we care. Without side-tracking, but E.g. cutting solo players who need matchmaking out the loop entirely and forcing obsolescence of hard earned collectibles are just two such 'beyond just bad - actually game destroying, game-leaving' features. It's not representative AT ALL of how we may view the game as a whole. Perhaps there could be a place for what the game gets right (big shout out to SOUND DESIGN 👍👍) but you would need to ask yourself what would motivate it and what purpose such a forum would actually have.

3 RepliesYou don't get it, do you. It's a feature, not a bug. More outrage = more interaction.
