Unfortunately, he’s right. The price of content right now isn’t really what we should be complaining about it. It’s the quality of the content and for that, I give you that the season costs ten bucks. The season level, given the current pricing of exotic eververse items actually gives you back MORE than you would have paid for without the season pass.
The problem is I, and many other players, would gladly trade whatever season pass bs they gave us next year for better quality content, less focus on Eververse and I would gladly fork out 25 bucks per content drop for it.
Games are gonna increase in price soon. It’s getting way too expensive to make them in their current state given how much quality is expected, and the price hasn’t changed in over a decade.
I’d totally pay more for games if it meant we moved away from loot boxes and overmonetization. I was one of the many vehement opposers of eververse. I KNEW it was a slippery slope.
Bungie’s defenders cried it’s just cosmetics.
