I would like to know if it's even possible to get my character from Destiny 1 to Destiny 2. I've played since the taken King dlc dropped and I had gotten Rise of Iron and Destiny 2 on the day it came out but I had created a new account on PSN and I no longer want to use that account. I'm curious if I could at least get the memories I had done on Destiny 1 to Destiny 2 so it doesn't act like I'm a new player.

Edited by GrundleBeans: 1/7/2020 1:37:47 AMAll eligible Destiny accounts automatically underwent an Account and Character Migration on August 1, 2017 to import account and character data into Destiny 2. Each character must have reached at least Level 20 and must not have been deleted at the time of the migration. Any progress or changes made to your characters after August 1, 2017 was not included in the import. As long as you sign into your PS4 with the same account you used on D1, any imported characters should show up when you log into D2. Thank you, I got my answer at least. Well I have slightly wasted my money for it but oh well. It does suck though $60 for the collection and I can't even get credited for killing Orx, the Seva outbreak or becoming a Iron Lord or the black garden heart defeated.

I understand that, I didn't make the account until after you already did the migrations I understand if it's not something you would like to do I was just curious because I just got Destiny 1 and I'm going through everything I was just wondering if I'm doing this for nothing but wasting my time and money or if I could still get my memories. I don't really care about the character I just want the memories of what I did.

Edited by GrundleBeans: 1/7/2020 1:47:11 AMIt was a one-time migration event, so unfortunately new players that created an account after that can't import anything from D1 to D2. D1 is still a fun game to play and has tons of content though. There are still lots of other people playing.

Edited by ChieftainWolfie: 1/7/2020 2:09:03 AMI understand and I do enjoy Destiny and I'm looking forward to pre-ordering D3 and the rest. I do appreciate Bungies work and I hope to see a migration of those characters on D2 to D3 it really hits fans to see the accomplishments and I think it is a great idea I just wish Destiny could have a game to last longer than two dlcs and two expansion passes and continue to update and be able to be what it should have been from the start like allowing trade with other players, being able to visit all the areas that we have been to like the cosmodrome and EDZ. Well thanks for the help. It does help but I do still enjoy both games. I just hope that in the future your company wouldn't mind going back and actually helping old players like me to get back the memories on a new game.

Fyi he's not a Bungie employee. No one here is.

Thanks. I really wish they had a support team for the players.
Thanks. I really wish they had a support team for the players.
Unfortunately their incompetence knows no bounds. So that ain't happening anytime soon.

Well you know. Game companies have one thing on their mind. Money.
Well you know. Game companies have one thing on their mind. Money.
Yeah. And they can't even do that right. So my question is why do you still have any faith left in them?

Idk. Why do anyone have any faith in any game companies, I guess it's because I know Activition was a huge problem to Bungie and it's a small company that has tried to do curtain things with their games.
