Give older exotics champion perks!
I feel as though alot of older exotics are not really as useful as they once where (Exceptions being Izanagi's, Anarchy Ect) Especially now that the champion perks are basically required to do higher level nightfall's.
Basically. give some of the older exotics champion perks, fitting in with how to gun plays, some examples could be...
Wish ender - Anti-barrier, fits in with the piercing rounds
Outbreak - Overload, Kinda fits in with the whole SIVA nanite thing
Tractor Cannon - Unstoppable, Fits in with the gun creating a blast that can launch enemies and [b]stagger larger enemies[/b]
Malfeasance - Unstoppable / Overload On the 5 round explosion
Izanagi's - Unstoppable on a x4 shot
Polaris lance - Unstoppable on a perfect fifth round
Arbalest - Anti barrier, fits in with the guns whole purpose
You could go on and on with this, heck even some newer exotics could benefit from a champion perk [spoiler] cough cough Xenophage[/spoiler]

Everything with DoT perks should be overload

Give exotics a champion mod slot, when you max out the unlocks on the seasonal artifact, you get three “Exotic Artifact Mods” and you can put any mod on any exotic.

5 RepliesNo. I’d rather they let us put weapon mods on exotic weapons so we can choose what we want. Instead of making excuses to make more shitty catalysts.

Me: "oh, sweet, a catalyst for Ace of Spades. Now I can use it more often in endgame activities as it'll make orbs." Bungie: "that's a nice hand cannon you got there...." Me: "oh, yeah, thanks, it's always been one of my favourite weapons since D1 and now " Bungie: "[not listening] be a shame if someone... Made it useless in endgame activities! Mwahahahahaha!" I love the idea of champions and Eriana's Vow is a great weapon but it's a shame that so many old exotics got an indirect nerf when champions came along. The Symmetry change is also disappointing tbh. Now it'll just be another cool trinket that's useless for endgame.

Bungie want you using double primary. Sound familiar? Light progression is becoming meaningless and adding to exotics requires work. Good list if they did it

My only one problem with the artifact is having to slot things into the armour or weapons. The artifact should allow them to be placed accross all armour and weapons once unlocked. If this breaks too many builds perhaps take selectable mods on the artifact down.

They won’t ever do this as if they were planning it then they wouldn’t have removed Symmetry ability to stagger Unstoppable enemies. Their “reasoning” was that an exotic this season will get released with Unstoppable rounds. Which makes ZERO sense, surely they should want more weapons viable for the end game rather everyone using one of two loadouts.
