PETITION To Keep Momentum As A Permanent Game Mode!!!
Please all who agree comment here and upvote, and maybe if the entire community voice in agreement Bungie will actually do it.
I and many others who are avid PvP'ers but found crucible in D2 to be meh, find this new mode to be a breath of fresh air. It's AMAZING. It's fun, it's balanced, it's fast paced and overall enjoyable and easier to work on lengthy gun quests. I think it should rotate weekly between momentum control, clash, and supremacy, or even daily. But PLEASE Bungie keep this as a thing! Fellow guardians lend me your signatures and cast a vote. Cheers.

With that mode being the only reason I even have progress made on Randy's Throwing Knife along with the Jade Rabbit catalyst, I'd definitely like for it to stay a while longer. Otherwise, I don't give a hoot.

2 RepliesI'll be straight with you. Momentum is dumb. And not the fun kind of dumb, the boring kind of dumb. That said, [i]it is incredibly helpful for farming for certain catalyst objectives and pinnacles.[/i] Also I do enjoy going on punching sprees. Just, high-fiving people in the face.

10 RepliesIf momentum were to stick around they need to disable certain problematic perks and exotics. Looking at you wraith hunters with kepris sting. There's absolutely no semblence of balance when one subclass can fire a single shot, go ivis, get wall hacks (in a game mode that doesn't even have radar), throw a smoke grenade for wall hacks, no cooldown on crouch shot truesight.

In the TWAB they even said work on your jade rabbit catalyst before this game mode leaves. I mean its one thing to have a sense of humor and to poke fun at yourself from time to time but Bungie is just -blam!-ing clueless. This whole game is a joke and we are not laughing with them, we are laughing at them cuz they are morons. They said they thouroghly tested this game mode to make sure it would be as fun as possible for everyone. LOL! Does Bungie ever tell the truth about anything? Ever?

It def needs tweaked but it has been the most entertaining crucible experience ive had since forsaken launch when everyone was experimenting and there was no clear meta. When it goes away i wont touch cruc. So tired of dying from the same old shit. MC lets ‘trash’ weapons shine like i wish they would all the time.

I agree. I love it. I use Halfdan and I’ve had a blast playing it. Jade campers are annoying yeah but not everyone plays like a -blam!-. OHK melees are fun too.

It should be on a permanent rotation with standard mayhem on the node where it is now. I hate crucible as I just don't find it fun but with mayhem and momentum control I actually found in enjoyable. The chaos makes it alot more fun with the slight ease to specific weapons a very good bonus.

1 ReplyI haven't played it yet but it seems like it's gonna be bad from what i been hearing these past two weeks. Idk how good that new scout rifle is but i do know jade rabbit runs that mode 24/7 no one hasn't even said this other gun does good all i hear is headshots from jade rabbit.

It sucks, everybody just camps with jade rabbit. I only like it for catalyst farming so id like it to rotate regularly just for that. Its basically COD without the radar. No skill required, just patience to camp and whoever shoots first wins.

I didn't play Momentum, but the idea seems solid. A SWAT gamemode? I liked SWAT in Reach. I was never any good at it, but this flick panic headshots were always satisfying.

1 ReplyIt's not balanced because of jade rabbit sniping lanes. Got my Randy's and mtn top through it though so I can't complain. Do love that it allows me to use the slower firing weapons to some better effect though.
