THANK YOU

Edit: At least give us your thoughts on the situation Bungie. Why haven't these things been addressed when they've been complained about so much and for so long?
Edit 2: One Eyed Mask is an Exotic that is COMPLETELY PASSIVE. You don't have to do anything special or change your playstyle... You just get benefits for playing normally and opponents get immediately punished for fighting you. This passive exotic has multiple perks that are better than every other PVP's exotics main perk. Some people are coming in and saying "duhh it's not impossible to beat" as if anyone is actually saying that. It's an exotic that changes the flow of a match without the player doing anything. It keeps players alive and helps secure kills for no reason other than "I got shot". No other exotic is that powerful or easy to manipulate. I have a 2+ K/D. I don't give a fk about individual Titans with OEM... But in a team environment I can't control how impactful these bottom tree Striker OEM Titans are on my TEAM.

18 RepliesEdited by Spawn: 10/17/2019 10:48:54 PMSo, they just did. https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/48319
Shifting Sands We have a few tweaks coming to the combat sandbox in update 2.6.1, which is currently being targeted to deploy on October 29. Here is the Destiny Dev Team to give you the details. Super Energy Refunding Kills Goals: For a while now, Trample and Everlasting Flames have been an outlier, especially in PvP. We’ve previously done a pass to add diminishing returns to this but it’s proven to not be enough. In this update, we’ve tightened the curve a bit and split it out over PvE and PvP. This should allow Guardians to keep dunking on combatants for longer while being less oppressive against one another. Additionally, for Striker, we’ve increased the cost of the light attack to make dashing across the map a little less forgiving. We still want this to be used as a way to run people down or dodge and be shifty, but this change should make it costly enough as to be prohibitive as a form of long distance travel. Finally, regeneration will no longer proc on melee kills while in super. The combination was just too strong and overly forgiving of strategic or positional mistakes. Striker - Code of the Juggernaut (Bottom Path) Trample: - Tuned the amount of Super energy returned per kill - Reduced amount returned possible per kill from 15% to 13% (before diminishing returns) - Reduced the low end of the diminishing returns from 5% to 3.25% - Changed the kills for the diminishing returns by splitting them out between players and combatants Previously it was 15 kills. Now it is 14 combatant kills or 7 player kills (players count for 2X towards diminishing returns) Cost of light attack in super increased by 50% from 2% to 3% Regeneration on kill no longer procs on super kills Shoulder Charge We’ve removed a bug that allowed players to shoot immediately before activating shoulder charge, which allowed players to apply the 1-2 Punch damage buff to shoulder charge. This bug was caused by a quality of life change made for Tempest Strike. Before Shadowkeep, if player's had the sprint button configured as "hold to sprint", then they would need to be holding the sprint button while sliding in order to activate Tempest Strike. With the release of Shadowkeep, we added a small window of time where players could activate Tempest Strike after letting go of the sprint button. This change had unexpected effects on other melee abilities, so we have reverted this change until we can find a better fix for Tempest Strike.
29 RepliesCrying for nerfs to everything all the time is the strongest Hunter class ability.
-
7 RepliesOEM has already been nerfed once....
-
6 RepliesIf you have a 2.0 kd then nothing you're facing is remotely a problem for you. OEM is good, but it's nowhere as near as strong as it was last year and I have had no issues playing against people using it in Y3 and I run double primary. To your point about entire teams running it, you can say that about a hundred different things in this game. If a full team runs Rat King, MIDA, Bygones, Recluse, Erentil or any other decent thing, they're going to be just as obnoxious for you. It amazes me that there players that complain the most about what their opponents are using are the "high skill" players. Gigz was complaining about this stuff the other day. Dude runs 50-60 kill games like they're nothing, but "OMFNG I died to OEM, it has to go!!!". If you're that good, you ought to consider it a challenge to face that tests your "skill".

3 RepliesAt this point one eyed mask will be -blam!-ing useless.

Read The TWAB

1 ReplyStompees are 500x worse than OEM on console, but no one complains because they're all abusing it so they just complain about OEM
-
6 RepliesTitan: Takes off eom and bottom tree striker. Still wrecks everyone in crucible with off meta weapons. Warlocks and Hunters: Impossible 😮😮
-
Again, everything gets ruined because of the PVP crowd crying nerf. So tired of you ruining my PVE experience Bungie. Stop catering the PVP crowd, or figure out how to adjust something in PVP only. Take all that stupid Eververse money and fix you game so you can do this.

OEM is broken. But we’ve got a new problem: Wormhusk + top tree Arc + seasonal mod. Immunity during dodge guarantees health regen no matter what. It’s complete BS -
Striker Titan was too strong. If I'm able to go in with 30 mobility and 9 resilience and still get 30 kills, then playing a Titan is way too easy.
-
Not everyone is sick of it. Completely unthought out argument. I love bottom tree Striker. I say buff it.

4 RepliesThank YOU FOR RUINING MY CLASS DUMBO
-
6 RepliesAt the minimum OEM needs to be changed so that vengeance only probs from the person that is marked, not just by killing someone else while the perk is active.
-
6 Replies''EVERYONE IS SICK OF IT THANK YOU'' Not as much as of Dawnblade solar Warlock who have broken OP super that last far to long and gives crazy mobility so its easy to kill 10+ enemy guardians.
-
25 Replies100% I’m so tired of OEM crutch Lords. Getting punished for shooting a Training wheel Titan... 1) shoot Titan with OEM 2) get marked and a play-by-play/instant wall hacks of your location 3) Titan gets to skate down on you and prefire around a corner at your exact pinpointed location or shoulder charge 10 meters with immunity frames 4) Titan with Training wheels gets a powerful overshield and damage boost .... for what? Because an opponent shot you? So now you get an advantage in a gunfight? Bungie- everyone that’s not Crutching OEM is tired of it. Wormhusk was too powerful? Nerf’d to uselessness and then came out with the most overpowered Exotic you could dream up... this has gone on for far too long.
-
1 ReplyEveryone seems to agree but the strikers running oem... they complained the same way when nova warp was good lmao
-
6 RepliesDefend it all you want, Bottom Tree Striker Titans with OEM, Mountaintop, Recluse and Hammerhead wouldn't be the exact combination of words people use to describe the issue they're having if it wasn't an issue. Stompies are not comparable. They are mobility. Nothing else. All you have to do to counter it is look up. To counter OEM, you have to basically wait out Vengeance. You cannot counter it by peeking because they can see you. You cannot counter it by running because they can see you wherever you go. Literally just for getting hit. Once. And then once they kill you, they get an overshield and a damage buff. The amount of value that exotic provides is unrivaled by any exotic in the entire game.

This is funny cant wait to see how many Bottom tree OEM players I see after this I still feel the market should only be line of sight... shouldn't be able to see me through walls longer than my proc...I mean nerfed my flawless execution for that reason in general but...

14 RepliesIf you cry about bottom tree striker and OEM needing a nerf you’ll cry for sentinel, synthoceps and suppressor nades to get nerfed next. And once those get nerfed you’ll cry for hammers to get nerfed repeating the cycle until titan is a useless class.
the logic of a hunter main: -If it killed me it’s OP -If something is strong on titan or warlock it needs a nerf -If something is strong already on hunter it deserves a buff until nothing can stop it.
They just did

1 ReplyEdited by Baggy 231: 10/17/2019 8:35:07 PMYep, There are a few things that need some adjustment. Bottom Tree Striker - Lasts way too long. You can keep the healing on kills, as long as the duration increase on kills went bye bye. OEM - Marking + Over-shield + Increased Damage? Ditching the over-shield would be a big step. Erentil - Same basic problem, one too many perks. I've got no problem with a high impact fusion rifle with a long charge time mapping people. That's an acceptable trade off. Backup Plan changes the gun into something it shouldn't be though. Blade Barrage and Nova Bomb killing people inside the Church on Widow's Court, even though the super was outside. Dawnblade seems to be putting out a silly amount of damage in Crucible, particularly against other supers.
-
I consider the 10/17 TWAB as hollow lip service until meaningful OEM changes actually happens. Until then this is just cosmetic text.
