Is there really only going to be a crucible and gambit one? Pretty disappointing if this is true.
Edit: should have put a PvE pinnacle behind the hard nightfalls.
Edit 2: Comes from "SEASONS IN DESTINY 2'S THIRD YEAR" post today. There may still be one but if there is it must be specifically only available to shadowkeep buyers unlike the gambit and crucible ones which are accessible to free players.

1 ReplyIf they DO have one? What would you want it to be? and what perk? Here is hoping they buff scouts and add some crazy shit on that.... I have an idea: Witching Hour - 150/180 Scout Rifle - Looks like the love child of the Proxima Centauri II in D1 and the Nameless Midnight. Perks: Doppelganger - 2 Firing Modes - 180 & 150 Perks: Witching Hour - Every 3rd Bullet has a chance to do stun enemies, killing stunned enemies partially magazine. Full Auto with High Impact Reserves, Explosive Payload and Feeding Frenzy. 180 mode Single Fire mode with Acc Round, Triple Tap & Rampage. 150 Mode

11 RepliesFrom a business perspective, they want to inflate the PvP activities by requiring it to involve the most active use. I hate it and discovered this after buying Forsaken. So I decided I’m going to FORSAKE Bungie and give them no more money. There are SO. MUCH. BETTER. Games out there. Dragon Quest 11s, Astral Chain, and so much more. Destiny did well back in 2014-2015 because there was barely any games on the market. 2016-2017, shit really started hitting the fans.

1 Replywasn't mentioned for free players... does not mean there isn't one. reactionary much?
-
No free handouts 👍
-
yeah i was disappointed by that as well, i was hoping that would mean they would bring back strong raid weapons
-
Probably have to buy the quest.
-
8 RepliesPeople complain about not wanting to play Crucible/Gambit, Bungie responds by taking away Vanguard pinnacle weapon. 👎
-
There will undoubtedly be one for PvE. The only reason they didn't mention it in the free-player list is because free players will not have access to the season's pinnacle PvE activity.
-
I keep missing Service Revolver. It keeps coming and going during a period of inactivity for me. I love 180rpm hand cannons, but will. Ever seem to be able to get this one. Sucks. Stop taking it away Bungie!!
-
I believe vanguard pinnacle quest part of brand new strike
-
Yeah I saw this and am disappointed to say the least. Basically it's two pvp pinnacles with requirements to kill 5 billion things, multikills, reset 5 times and oh yeah.....ruin everyones match by only focusing on your own objective. Good going bungie........ 🙄
-
5 RepliesAt this time, I believe bungie have no idea about they're doing anymore. This new annual pass/season pass/"battle pass" system is prove of it. So.. Not having a vanguard pinnacle weapon is actualy normal tbh! Besides.. What would make you buy the season pass to grind new gear and armor and get extra materials from the "battle pass"! Pvp/ gambit to make you competitive or pve that it's easy af and something will do as long as you've enough light to do it!? Food for the brain...
-
13 RepliesThere are no PVE pinnacle weapons because they want want to artificially inflate the PVP numbers by forcing normal people play Cruc-A-Crap. This keep the POS sweaty cowards happy with a steady source of fodder to gorge on. .
-
Bungie needs several hundreds of millions of dollars and years before they can create content again. They also need to find some employees to replace all the star ones they lost. In the meantime they cash cow to pay the bills at constant fees whilst their cost and quality of work declines consistently.
-
9 RepliesGood! Then pve players can come into pvp for once. Then they will know how it feels to play parts of the game they don’t enjoy.
-
Well, maybe the Vanguard will no longer be a faction in shadowkeep eh?
-
23 RepliesEdited by COMBATICUS: 8/30/2019 10:22:36 PMWell of course, pvp while not dead, it has low population. I'm constantly playing against the same players for at least 2 to 3 games before it finally switches. They need more of us and those who like pve only to get on pvp side so they can say "hey look, our pvp finally got more active and popular"
-
They’re too lazy to develop a strikes pinnacle weapon. They want to force you into gambit and PvP while the rest of their resources are going towards eververse/battle pass scams.
-
1 ReplyZavala sucks anyways. Dungeon specific loot and weapons POG is miles better for the game plus as a PvE pinnicle. Something they should consider and not just remove it completely like they did trials. Kinda bummed out that they did not have any for the shattered throne (even a taken suit like D1 would of been nice).
-
3 RepliesI think they are planning to reveal strike specific loot so that apron why. Besides who wants to run 40 strikes in a specific way? Boring af
-
6 RepliesVanguard Pinnacles are so easy to get, they havent been that good anyways. I dont mind. Bungie may have decided that PVE Players dont need the pinnacle incentive to play strikes.
-
I read it as, they are giving free players access to the pinnacle weapons that they are going to be facing in pvp activities.
-
We don't know about it not having a vanguard pinnacle. Luke was just saying that even if you don't have the pass you can still get gambit and crucible because it is free. I wouldn't jump to conclusions the vanguard is probably the sword, gambit sidearm, and crucible shottie.
-
Didnt they say people with the free pass get a gambit and crucible weapon only? If that's the case I bet people with the premium pass get all 3 pinnacle weapons Or I misinterpreted what bungie said
-
1 ReplyI noticed this also .... Zavala, this is why I chose Drifter !
-
1 ReplyWhat’s the point? There’s s good chance the best weapon fur pve will be a Crucible one anyway lol
