Rework the Erentil FR4 perk pool please
Seriously.... it’s getting out of hand... a high impact, high base range fusion rifle shouldn’t be rolled with rangefinder, or the perk that makes the bottom half of the mag do more dmg because you only spawn with two charges anyway. OR you could lower the base range so that rangefinder and good sights and coil would be needed to hit at 25+. For all the people saying I’m crying about it I’m really not I’m just tired of getting mapped by it when I know it shouldn’t do that in a competitive game.(I know the competitive aspect of the game is a joke because this game is so unbalanced.)

Telesto used to be my gun. They nerfed it. Dont see why they can't rework Erentil as well.

( I think I have like 1.6k Kills on it) i mainly used it to counter shotguns because they just run in a straight line like idiots. Then I noticed it was getting popular and more used. I put it away and use Pistols instead. Which are very slepted on. Didn't think a fusion rifle out of all guns would be the weapon to be good for PvP

Nice edit: sure once they remove rifled barrel and full choke from shotguns and dumb down aim assist getting for shotguns theres no reason why the no skill shotguns should have 75 as as it applies to all pellets and drastically widens the hit box for weapons

I can understand players are mad because they die to it and can’t or won’t learn how to play against it, BUT the Erentil is balanced and serves a purpose in the meta. There is a reason none of these posts ever gets positive upvotes: the community disagrees with nerfs for this weapon by a majority. This is like the 25th post suggesting changes and most players like it how it is.

Stop using truth then. Or any Traking Rocket for that matter. Enteril's required 100x more skill to use than Truth and it's only like 2 rolls that have the range. Honestly, if you're getting 'mapped' by it you're probably standing still too long.

6 RepliesUses truth and a sniper that aims for him. High lvl comp is 5k and above which you aren't there. Plus you won't see many erentils there. At 5k it's nothing but oem bottom tree striker spectral aids gg. Stacks of shotguns hunters crutching warcliff and truth. With bygones, and hand cannons

I agree. It has pulse range... thats ridicules... plus it has super fast charge time... you cannot effectivly dodge this weapon. it is whacked!

The list is so long that I’ve lost track. They should just make a mode with weapon racks with stock weapons to choose from, 5 second supers and one brick of heavy for everyone to fight over to appease the players that struggle with concept that they’ll die all the time, even if other players have sticks and stones to use.

You aren't losing all those games because of Erentil, but nice try kiddo. I do find it amusing that people like you who are just shotgun apes want to cry about something they don't know how to counter because they don't use it. If you did use it you'd know the weakness of a fusion rifle and you'd know how to out play them. Erentil, just like a sniper or shotgun forces you to respect it's presence on the field. If the user is skilled with it you must acknowledge it and play accordingly. Same as if the other team had a skilled sniper would you keep peeking lanes if you kept getting popped? Or would you try to flank and close the distance? What about if skilled shotgunners kept pushing in and collapsing on you? Would you just keep standing still and not back peddle to increase distance? Fusion rifles are no different in they force the enemy to adapt and stick to cover and peek shot to combat them if the user is skilled with it. Stop crying and start learning. Furthermore like I said stop trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Of the games you lost, 2 people were using Erentil. It's not this big pandemic you are trying to make it out to be.

And it was an Exotic! It literally turns them into low risk high reward weapons. 2) Fusions in D2 were changed to hitscan weapons because they were moved to the heavy slot originally Well they’re no longer classified as Power Weapons And need to changed back to projectile weapons. 3) They along with Shotties need a range Cap. Zero to 40 OHK meter range is just ridiculous. That covers just too much ground. Anyone that says differently is an obvious main/crutch (abuser). What’s an abuser? Those that use it like it’s a primary. With double scavenger perks.

It's crazy how many people forgot how crappy D2 was in Y1. TTK was horrendous, super regeneration was ridiculously slow, abilities took forever to charge. You could perhaps learn to avoid it. I outplay fusions all the time. It isn’t hard. Limit your exposure and listen to the charge time. Wait to peek until they aren’t charging. And peek for only one hand cannon shot. If you’re standing out there trying to three tap a fusion rifle, it isn’t that fusions are OP. it’s that you’re bad

I've never once seen the perks you mentioned on an erentil users fusion who gets consistent kills with it. Maybe we're playing different games? In the game I play. Destiny 2. If I die to an erentil it's user error on my part. I have a radar, cover to use, a kill feed that shows me who's dieing to what, sound cues (spelling?) to alert me what is going on around me and a team of blueberries to use as meat shields. Not to mention the ability to look at my team and the Enemy teams loadout at any point and adjust my game plan accordingly. All my deaths in this game come down on me and I'll own that. Even though I know how "to get good", and the solo earnt Luna, recluse and revoker (lolz talk about pandering) should prove that. I like to play like Rambo occasionally and it rarely works out. But stats be damned, I have a blast doing so. But by all means, keep playing like a potato and crying for nerfs. We will adjust ;)
