Eververse is optional. Who cares what they charge for for it? Seriously, what is wrong with you guys.
Who. Cares. If. It. Costs. Silver.
The junk from Eververse has ZERO game effect. Not a little bit.
What is up with the constant, reckless butt hurt here?

2 RepliesWhats funny is that a lot of the people who bellyache about "p2w" (lol) and "predatory mtx practise" have also praised GTA:V 😂 Lets not forget how heavily incentivized Shark Cards are, how the grind to avoid that is leaps and bounds above anything in Destiny, and the fact they just added an actual casino into the game

3 RepliesPeople who played a lot of year 1 will have an advantage, as any duplicates will be dismantled for bright dust. I’ve also noticed that if you collected all or nearly all engram gear, you seem to be more likely to get exotic duplicate items, which is a free 500 bright dust. If you want to get items without silver, start farming as much bright dust as you can, as all items will be available for bright dust. Do eververse bounties (as many 150s as you can farm with your eververse notes). Dismantle every purple gear in your vault you don’t want or use. Remember, if you REALLY want it back, you can get it back from collections for a massively discounted price. People have to understand. Activision is gone (almost). They need to make extra funding to compensate. The goal for bungie here is simple. You noticed that the bright engram for this season is reprised season 1 gear correct, while the (special) new items had to be directly purchased, correct. They know that desperate players wanting to get the brand new gear to look good would pay large amounts of cash for these exclusive items. This is the same for the event items. Most players will waste their bright dust haphazardly, and would be tempted to buy silver for these exclusive items. Now you see the situation. By making new items locked behind certain paywalls, they can tempt more and more people to spend cash on these items, which are purely decorative and have almost no purpose in game. With the players bright dust reserves abysmal by the end of the season from purchases, they would be tempted to buy EVEN MORE silver to gain these items. This is a simple, yet highly effective business tactic. ALL ENGRAMS from this point onward will be based on previous season items. I can guarantee next season, during shadowkeep, the reward engram will either be the rest of the year 1 items, or be forsaken items, while the brand new items will be locked behind a paywall.
