Bungie is notorious for failing to close plot lines. They won’t close this either. Dreaming city will remain cursed. We will just move on.

Well we have to break the curse because isnt Eris trapped the loop also? I might be wrong but im sure it says that somewhere in the lore.

Act|choose|react lore card says someone has to 1-man Shattered Throne at 999light to unlock the Dreaming City's true ending

Which might actually happen at this rate given d3 won't be next year apparently, can't wait to see if they follow through with that lore book for that
