Well, before anybody says it, DO NOT nerf the outbreak prime recoil.
Don’t nerf the recoil! In pvp the gun does very little with the swarms in my opinion(though to be fair I have not been in a situation to use it, very situational) and so the recoil imo feels like the exotic perk. I can feel the “nErF REEEEcoil” because it is so good, but I don’t think it should be. Thank you for listening to my ted talk

2 RepliesThis game is just plain pure toxic. Plain and simple. Its toxic to the core and so bad that leeches are leeching off solo players charging them money to "carry" them. Im just going back to single player games. I don't need to play online bully simulator the game. BTW all of you are hypocrites. You just die for a gun that gives you an unfair advantage over other players. That's a fact. It's been this bad since destiny one and it still is this way. It will never change online gaming is toxic and that's that. Its the haves and have nots. Plain and simple. This gun is the best pulse in the game cause it has a gimmick attached to it and low and behold its actually stable on console. Proving yet again once again that bungie can make good weapons on console they just choose to only make them for the hardcore players that turn around and charge solo players more money for they're own pockets to obtain them. Disgusting cycle this game is. What happened to gaming being a fun hobby? THATS FOOKIN DED

5 RepliesAND before you say Im a scrub git gud and Im wrong just look at luna and not forgotten how many people paid for those guns or lived in comp. and put in hours upon hours of real gaming grind and now bungie just smashed your hard work and loyalty and nerfs your favorite guns. Im sick to death with this game. Its a pretty mess and as much as I love destiny I hate it just as much. If you can't see why or non of this is registering with you just wait as soon as your next favorite gun gets taken away from you via destiny 3 or nerfs you will understand. Remember we can take all our gear from D1 into D2 lies, yeah where's my fate bringer? Exactly this game is one giant circle jerk.

2 RepliesHonestly I wouldnt mind a recoil Nerf as a PC player. The fact that the gun has no recoil actually hurts the weapon for me. Just like Lunas, the No-Recoil function actually just serves to make the gun far less effective. I am used to games like CS:GO and Rainbow Six: Siege where managing recoil is an important factor in gun fights, so when a gun has no recoil I find myself compensating for recoil that isnt there. Its a mental block that I simply cant untrain, because it would mean the undoing of my skill in those other games and with weapons like TLW. Bungie: Please nerf the Recoil of the gun. Its too much.

The flinch it takes jumps up a lot depending on the weapon you’re fighting, but I’d say it’s a great weapon as it is. Also if we are talking about lore, it is the PERFECTED version of Outbreak Prime. So like Taniks and the Sepiks Perfected, it should be strong. It is infused with Siva. Outbreak Prime was made with a Siva power core (I think) but as Shiro said back in RoI, it is “augmented with Siva” so yes, it should have high aim assist, yes, it should have decent bullet magnetism, and yes, it should have little recoil. It is made from the latest technology the tower has and then infused with Siva. It SHOULD be really good. Also, it’s how every gun should feel on console. Snappy, relatively easy to use, and versatile. Also it takes up an exotic slot which could be used for say... Arbalest, Chaperone, V wing, Suros, Rat king, DRB... There’s a load of kinetics that are better than OP, and don’t use the exotic slot. So yes it’s a good weapon, but there are better choices, and better choices for exotics. It’s a very good gun for everything, but it’s not the best. It feels like a REAL exotic, and it deserves the title exotic. Unlike some... *Cough cough* the aeon cult exotics...

4 RepliesYou know it can't be nerfed right. Just tweaked alittle. It's stability and handling is ridculous so if anything the only thing that can be done is tweak it to make the gun jump more something. I don't know don't really care just telling you to reword yourself alittle.

Yep, agreed.. I mean, it's not like exotics have a mod socket on them. The recoil should absolutely be left alone, otherwise how will it compete with something like a Bygones with counterbalance stock applied on it? It's an exotic, by default it should have superior handling/stability or damgae output in someway to other weapons. Also, I have actually managed to actually get some nice, yet surprising double kills using the nano swarm things with mine. ;)

Recoil direction also seems to be 90+. I say leave the stability/recoil alone but knock the range down by 10-15, i dont want a outbreak perfected meta almost as much as i dont want a thorn meta.

6 RepliesI actually did a video on it about how I felt about the gun in crucible. Honestly I don't see this gun being nerfed. D1 Outbreak Primes specialty was its near laser stability and it traded that for the normal range of other pulses. Outbreak Perfected is honestly much the same. Personally I don't think we will see nerfs to this until they decide to nerf outlaw/kill clip Go Figures and Blast Furnaces since imho those two pulses will wipe the floor with someone using Outbreak Perfected. It's a mostly PVE weapon that has very situational god tier moments in PVP. It's perks are geared for PVE and that means the only perk you'll consistently be utilizing is outlaw. Even the swarms have a limited use in PVP since you'll need people to be grouped. If people start yelling for nerfs it will be like people yelling for Magnificent Howl to be nerfed because of the small chance that someone actually manages to line up the 2-tap kill regularly if at all. The overall gun nerf is a different story for a different post though.

One thing most you need to figure out. Bungie does NOT and has NEVER Nerfed things just because some Potato Cries about it to them. They nerf things based on [b]Data[/b]. They see and analyze every single thing every single player does in this game. If a weapon starts preforming outside its intended range or overused by the masses they will adjust it. Again, Not just because some Potato cries to Bungie about it.

3 RepliesUnfortunately Bungie does this... they make available a kick ass weapon and when more than just a few obtain it?... get off the tracks! Here come the nerf train! They know what they’re doing, they’re a lot of things and stupid is not one. Word gets out the weapon performs exceptional and people get back on and grind, game gets a jolt of participation. It’s sad, but it’s true.
