Is this plain and simple enough for you to understand? How much more do we have to say about this topic. Upvote please get this on the top of the forums!
Update: great response! Let’s see if anyone at the top acknowledge this post.
Update: well we got an answer but no real change, let’s face it the game is about $$$$ and that’s all. Streamers provide free advertising and that’s it. Side note I looked but not one of the money grubbing streamers replied to post (I could be wrong) but that just shows you they are not in touch with the community.

If the community vacated Bungie, Streamers couldn’t carry their products.

7 RepliesEdited by stoniwan: 3/16/2019 2:43:43 PMi've said it before: I'll gladly go and bring the perspective of a day 1 player with kids who also game, a job and a life. I'm a regular player. I don't have all day to play like a streamer, and also you'd think they'd be interested in what gets me to spend money. Petition them to invite me as the average hero. Consider it!! Edit: Lmao struck a nerve with the no-lifers. Run back to your basements children! Daddy’s got things to talk to the grown ups about!

you can't have the top 1% (based on playtime), dictate terms for the average gamer
This is why 95% of starting base has left this game.
-
Streamers are just the small percent of hardcore players who just happens to play there game live
-
Why? What specifically doesn't jive with you the you know "steamers want". Even though it hardly sounds like you watch or listen let's hear what you know they want. Awful stuff to destroy the game they love.

11 RepliesEdited by New_zZzomBie: 3/16/2019 9:19:15 AMWe got D2 launch cuz of you Casuals. We got Forsaken because of steamers. Ill take the latter Not sure what your talking about w leveling and infusion. You do know steamers think the leveling system is broken. And want cores removed. Bungie won't budge. Tho Destin the awful streamer ftc leader just tweeted lars about it so maybe. I do kno they'll probably at least change leveling to d1 standards. This whole blame Streamers is bizarre, it's Bungie that likes that stuff and Bungie which won't Budge. If you don't watch and listen to streamers stop acting like you know anything they wish we had
-
7 RepliesI totally agree with this post. Also streamers have no respect for casual players. Especially that s n t r guy.

"Forsaken was pulled from d2 launch. It had nothing to do with streamer input" These are the idiots who make this thread. Plz ignore this whole forum

28 RepliesWow lol... Disappointing but not surprising given the idiocy on these forums. I'm not even going to go into detail as to how dumb this is, so I'll just say that the first Summit gave us the best DLC the game has ever had.

This again???

I'm not a streamer myself, i'm more of a nobody that has spent alot of his time in Destiny 1, even in D2. But i do try to leave helpfull upholding active advice for bungie to look at, all i asked was for upvote so they saw. Not like it'd work anyways nowadays, i stopped playing, i come back on the forums to see how much worse it has gotten. And try to assess some good will and improvement i could suggest.

2 RepliesEdited by Optimus_immortel: 3/16/2019 2:39:48 AMI'd pick streamers over the shit talkers in here also.

Oh shut up

You are right streamers are dumbasses

5 RepliesWe dont know how to make a game so we have a summit where we let streamers tell us how to make the game

Streamers only represent themselves. The weirder haircut they have or the more g*y they are, the more followers. They mostly do it for the show and for views.
-
My community drinks whiskey, a lot of whiskey. Then enters pvp, we lose badly. I demand that Bungie and the ‘streamers’ represent my community. They should drink whisky, play crucible, lose and have a right load of fun!

3 RepliesPlayers play Destiny not watch some dude play Destiny.

16 RepliesEdited by Necrogen: 3/15/2019 6:04:32 PMYou mean, they don't represent you. My fng god with you people. You all making this sound like an election. Want people to campaign for you? Go on the trail, talk to Joe the plumber and find out his gaming needs? Byf and mylen do a fantastic job talking about lore. I believe they should hold sway when giving opinion. Aztec makes cool videos depicting new weapons and gives his take on them. I believe he is fair in judgment Ehroar has a well coordinated team taking weapons like FIGHTING LION and killing calus ASAP. Even he can discuss how weapons work. What is your problem man? Why are all of you bandwagoning trying to be mad at something this week? You want to go to the summit? be known. find out how to do that and one day you might go there. These streamers generate revenue...no sh1t. they do this thing called eating. They need that to live. Their fans watch them and are of like opinion most of the time and write to these folks. Bungie sees that and rather than brining in 1000 whining crybabies they'll bring in like 10 mature peeps that can form intelligble arguments and points for discussion. Take a look at the forums and read every threads first post and tell me no one sounds like a triggered psychiatric patient. go on...I'll wait. ....finished? You all give off that impression and need to stop.

Bungie does listen a little bit. They adjusted the Thorn quest so that it doesn't have loss mechanics. They still don't cater to the majority because the numbers don't lie. Pve players still out number pvp. But still the whole season of the drifter is based around pvp. How can you say you listen and care about the majority when there is nothing new for PVE? I understand that you have to keep the pvp community happy and rightfully so but don't sell this to us as if it was meant for everyone. Personally I feel as though my annual pass is a hit or miss for me. Other than mayhem and Iron Banner and I cant stand pvp. I am grinding through competitive for Thorn because what else is there to do? I can only handle so much Gambit/Prime and I can only make 2 weapons per week. I would rather pay more for my annual pass if it really meant new content.

Edited by Cohen: 3/15/2019 11:00:43 PMWhilst you’re right, they don’t solely represent the community, you have to realise that they have massive communities themselves. They will be taking their knowledge of playing a hell of a lot more than regular players on top of their community feedback for Bungie to address. I’d rather they chose popular streamers for their summits over people who will have biased opinions based on their disdain for streamers and content creators.

I know of one streamer, Lono aka SNTR presents who is kinda like, for the people by the people. However he is very logical and not stuck completely up Bungie's backside therefore he's ignored. The coming years will be an eye opener as I fear Bungo will become more aggressive with drip feed FOMO and will fight against players who haven't bought the latest dlc. Enhancement cores and terrible RNG have ensured that Bungie can't be trusted to not screw us over and treat many aspects of the game as F2P. Only voting with your wallet will help them see the error of their ways. A little goodwill goes a long way and someday they hopefully realize that

I agree, they are just a part of the community. As well as casuals, hardcore, forum, the silent players, and anyone that plays the game. The community isn't made up of 1 group of people, it's made up of many different types of gamers. I know a lot of the steamers tend to take the thoughts/opinions/questions from their communities to the summit, but in most cases, it's the same stuff being parroted that said streamer said. That's why I think along with streamers, bungie should invite others to get their input. I know some Reddit people go, but they should also use data they have and invite players that have played a lot; ones that played a lil; and ask them why they keep playing or stopped playing. I know bungie can't please everyone, but the more input they get from the different types of gamers, the better they can make the game.

Edited by iliopoulosXD: 3/15/2019 7:23:12 PMTo me it makes sense to ask “community leaders”...like gladd, Holtz, Coolguy, Byf, etc... to play test and get capture footage. But not for the direction of the game. Its simple enough to gauge whats needed in the forums and to survey the actual community take the top 5 to 10 things and move forward. To me these events have yielded the worst content drops and direction destiny has seen. Pinnacle comp weapons breaking the pvp meta and frustrating the player base Grindy boring quests, time gates and an unengaging boring game loop And uninspired end game content drops We dont really want much a clear interesting path to all the loot New loot that drops in the open world regularly and rewards play A fair power/leveling economy Strikes and pvp maps And most of all The destiny space magic power fantasy we all love You dont need streamers for those insights They are reasonable requests guardians have been making since D2 launched. Its not toxicity. Its frustration that Bungie is ignoring the simple requests and fixes that are staring them in the face
