I’m about done with this. If Anthem is any good at all this game is done.

Wouldn’t get my hopes up for Season 6.
-
*Looks at jokers wild on the roadmap* *has less content then black armory*
-
New season better be INCREDIBLE
...and that's how you set yourself up for disappointment.
-
1 Reply1. Anthem unfortunately is getting not great reviews. Considering the demo was a good chunk of the actual game. 2. Why do stupid people keep thinking one game is going to kill another? Just enjoy multiple games.
-
5 RepliesWill be... Competitive Gambit, with invasion portal always open. You ready???
-
I thought season of the forge was ok but it didn’t reach my expectations
-
If your expecting miracles you are playing the wrong game, it will be a slow drip feed of content. I'm hoping the weapons are worth chasing and hopefully there is more loot to chase than BA. I'm expected it to be very average and won't be disappointed if it is.
-
I think that what needs to happen is for BUNGIE to listen.
-
It’s going to be weak. For me to be really excited about destiny again they need like a complete overall of all systems, loot, exotics, super skill trees etc...TBH they need to overhaul the whole game and re-release it on another disc to download. At this point If they charged 20 bucks for a MAJOR update I would pay it. If they fixed all the issues Destiny 2 would be great.
-
Better find another alternative as Anthem also appears to be an unfinished product like Destiny was on release and like D2 still is. Gonna have to give these new games/shooters that are "games as a service" a few years before they're finished or playable.
-
New season is live in less than 2 weeks, Bungie have been unusually quiet about it, no trailer, no hype, so wouldn't get your hopes up, it'll be Gambit 2.0.

9 RepliesAnthem is riddled with issues right now and seems pretty anaemic on content. I’ve seen a lot of feedback that players have been starting to seriously feel the repetition after only 30 hours in. I played the 10 hour trial on XB and was just too frustrated by the many bugs, loading screens, lackluster weapons etc I think if EA had realized what a hit they’d have on their hands with Apex legends, they’d have pushed back the launch of Anthem to give more time to polish the game and add more content (maybe). That said, while I wouldn’t be willing to drop money on it right now, BioWare seem to be really proactive about fixing issues and engaging well with the community to act on feedback, so maybe they can improve things faster than I originally expected. I’ll be keeping an eye on it for sure, but don’t think now is the time to invest

5 RepliesEdited by snout-finger: 2/20/2019 5:15:11 PMAnthem looks pretty bad to be honest but this next season really needs to start delivering. I am seriously bored of Destiny at the moment and am pretty sure I am not alone.
-
What are you expecting exactly?
-
I hope you dont have high hopes for either. The saying goes: "without expectation there is no disappointment."
-
Its probably gonna have competitive gambit mode.
-
Edited by madmax0707: 2/20/2019 1:26:27 PMDefine good, lol good and bung. Ummmm.
-
Anthem is gonna have issues, but I also feel like the next Destiny season is going to be hugely disappointing. Division 2 however, is poised to hit the ground running.
-
3 RepliesFunny you should mention the Anthem train as it’s already started to derail. And this upcoming content release is focused on the Drifter. So if it’s gambit related I’m definitely going to have find something else to play. Gambit is boring af.
-
I'll be playing anthem in 3 days with people I like to play with. Without having PvP interfere in how the game acts and how the game balance will be.
-
It's a gambit dlc with no raid. This game sucks
-
2 RepliesDon’t hold your breath, be prepared for Black Armory 2.0 with Gambit.
-
Don’t hold your -blam!-ing breath. 🤣
-
I don't think Bungie was going to put their best stuff in the dlc going against Anthem and the Division 2. It will be okay-ish at best and Penumbra will be their big swing, as by that time the honeymoon with the other games will be ending.
-
Don’t expect too much out of anthem, the game doesn’t really have any substance to hold interest after beating the campaign. If you should be looking at any looter shooter, division 2 actually looks fairly promising, it built on the good division we got after everyone left the game so there’s a lot of promise there.

Looking for a good group to play Anthem with. I keep forgetting Drifter is coming out. Crazy. Used to be so stoked on new releases. They seem to be moving away from story exposition with these releases. I think they have VASTLY underestimated the importance of story in this game and in particular these season pass releases. I want to know WHY I’m doing these things, not just mindlessly grind things.
