Is Origin Story still the best Auto Rifle in D2?
because I haven't found one better.
Perhaps the new Gambit Pinnacle weapon will surpass it?

1 ReplyI'm using Horror Story... The pinnacle weapon has to be DANG good in order for me to switch. I've read the perks, but I'm not sold, especially since faster fire rate doesnt equate to a better gun... I'm mostly worried about wasting shots with the pinnacle gun because of the increasing fire rate.

I used Horror Story a lot. Now that I’ve got Breakneck Horror Story has been sent to the vault. Bring on the hoarde mode.

Origin Story is still a solid choice for primary assault rifle. I personally, however, have found Horror Story and Tigerspite to be slightly better with stats and perks. Not to mention I've heard plenty of good things about Hazard as well, but you're going to have to do a bit of grinding for that.

No doubt your weapo's need to suit your style, and it's alla preference, but no way Is Origin Story still the best auto in the game (if it ever truly was the best). Breakneck is much better, it's a very good gun. A well rolled tigerspite is a better choice then origin story. Horror story is a great gun. All better options. Tbh once I got the Breytek auto (first war mind legendary) I didn't use Origin Story again.

Horror Story is my favorite AR in the game so far.

I have both Hazard and Cerebus+1 and both are great. Cerebus takes my exotic slot and that is currently reserved for Thunderlord :-) I think Hazard with Rampage would be a great gun

I put my horror story away and found out that Cerberus +1 is way better.
