Destiny 3...
I kinda want Destiny 3 to be a prequel game that focuses on the events of the collapse. Before, during and how to go about it. I think it would be pretty interesting to go back and relive that.

When they wipe your progress, erase your gear, and remove all the functionality improvements made throughout D2. Destiny 3, collect some tokens until we start to fix the game a year after launch.

I would actually like to see a Movie or Series about the collapse. Our character isn’t a part of the collapse (we just die. That’s it) so there wouldn’t be any gameplay potential.

They should just continue making updates to destiny 2. And just call it Destiny. Keep just progressing in the game now.

We need to finish the story before we go into prequels. What about the fact we have a Hive goddess heading our way. What are those triangle ships. What is happening inside the Fallen groups (Variks). Are the Cabal going to come looking to what happened to the Red Légion not to mention their deposed Emperor is in the system. Is SIVA truly gone or is Rasputin going to use it (we know it is on Earth, Mars and Nessus). What is Rasputin doing. What is going on with the Traveller. No we have more to do before we start to look backwards outside of what the lore tells us.

I have a feeling that D3 won't make it off the drawing board. Only BUNGIE could find a way to piss off both the tryhard, no-life gamers AND the casual gamers.

Destiny 3 is already in production. The most likely guess is this will be the dramatic, apocalyptic battle with Savathun that will wrap up the entire stoeyline.

That would be hard because they would have to get Nathan back to voice Cayde. I hope it takes us to destinations outside of the solar system. From a narrative point of view it won't. After the red war hundreds of Guardian's are dead, thousands of humans dead. Zavala is right we need to protect the city at all costs. If we don't humanity dies.
