And I didn't use the Prime Engram Glitch. God that feels so satisfying.
Whats next Bungie? 650? I'm ready.
For those asking the best way to level up, I'll break it down for you. First, you need to understand that higher activities give higher jumps in the level of the dropped gear. So to optimize your efforts, on Tuesday, you should do:
Raid (as much as you can or all of it)
Dreaming City (T4 Blind Well + Petra)
Nightfall (Score Run)
Spider Wanted Bounty
Ikora and Hawkthorne
This will give you the greatest immediate boost in light level (unless you get all Edge Transits somehow). That will allow your Prime Engrams to drop at a much higher level throughout the week compared to if you'd done all the other stuff first.
From there you should do every other milestone activity throughout the week (at your own pace and when you have time to spare of course). Your Prime buff will refresh Daily, so every Prime Drop you get from Tuesday forward will be benefited by maximizing light as soon into the reset as possible.
Ignore the salty jealous boys below and I hope the advice in the spoiler helps you guys out. Who knew being 600 would make people so toxic against you 😂😂😂

1 ReplyThis comes across to me, given the short time span since launch and the fact that levelling in this game is pure luck, as a "I have no life and got super lucky with rng." scenario. XD You tried to make it sound like a "see, if I can do it so can you." post, but in reality very few people work at a "home office" and thus have only a fraction of the time you apparently do to play. The vast majority of us also have pretty shtty luck when it comes to getting helpful gear out of powerful engrams so I consider myself super lucky just to have reached 560 by this point... even if I still haven't gotten any of the exotic drops I want yet. There are quite a few people who get completely fked by rng and make almost no progress after using all their weekly powerful engrams. So a "see, if I can you can too" post doesn't really fit in when discussing the power level grind. There are too many variables that are completely out of the player's hand that can completely screw you over. If it were a matter of skill or just grind then maybe, but since character progression in this game is literally entirely based on luck, you are what most people would call "the lottery winner".

4 RepliesIf that’s what satisfies you then you really need to get out more.

I remember back in D1 when Light Level actually reflected the time and effort you put in. Now its just a crap shoot of RNG drops/bugs and the poorest execution of releasing a raid to date.

3 RepliesEdited by IAGNRG: 10/2/2018 9:32:12 PMWhat’d you do to level so fast? I guess just all challenges, milestones, and the raid?
-
3 RepliesBut the real question is do you have
100 edge transits?
1 ReplyDamn some people are really salty about this for some reason. Congrats! I'm actually ~13 light away from 600 on my Hunter. Hoping I'll hit that milestone by the end of the week, as I hope to actually complete the raid this week as well.
