what happend to the design team for armor pieces?
arent u supposed to loke like a legend in destiny, bungie?
with this thing i feel like a wall outlet.
there are so many good looking fan art-armor sets in destiny, which look totaly badass,
why dont u copy them, instead of wall outlets [url][/url]

2 RepliesI want Warlocks to wear trenchcoats, not bath robes. Who honestly wants a spa robe for combat? In my opinion, the best looking Warlock robes are the Nessus/FWC robes.

3 RepliesCan't bump this hard enough. Hate to be critical of anyone's hard work, but the overall armor design (and overall aesthetic changes) are what might finally turn me off of this franchise. I just don't get it! Despite all of D1s ups and downs, it ALWAYS looked great, and ALWAYS had armor and shaders I wanted. What happened?! Here's the thing...some of the concept art looks AMAZING for D2, but by the time it makes it in the game, it looks crappy. The overall character look just doesn't look as good in D2. For all the great changes they've made leading up to D2, I REALLY wish this is something they would've addressed and changed...hopefully they did...

3 RepliesI have noticed that for some reason all of the ps4 exclusive armor sets look the worst in the game. The vanilla armor sets are kind of bland at times but the ps4 armor is miles worse.

The goal is to make all basic armor look like garbage. This way for any good armor you need to do raids/trials/eververse. Personally I find it disappointing that they feel some of these outfits are acceptable. Of course keep in mind some of the pieces may be reskinned blue rare armor from d1 as they have done that in year 1 of d2.

Yeahhh, I’m with you. Case in point: I was so excited to get that scatterhorn armor, until I looked at them. I understand there is history and lore behind that stuff, but the reused/recycled/scavenged and very worn/old look is just getting... old. Now that the traveler is all woke, I’m hoping the foundries will start turning out better looking gear. High hopes indeed for the Black Armory!

As much effort as bungie has put in, I have to agree. The armour in destiny 1 always looked awesome and I was extremely happy with the look of all three of my characters. In destiny 2 I've had to settle with armour sets that look ok.

1 ReplyThat Warlock helmet reminds me of Birdo from Mario. The cosmetics aren't as important as gameplay, obvs, but I do want nice looking stuff. Tbh, I have some sets from Y1 I really like e.g. if I can get IB armour in Y2 with extra perks but still apply my Y1 ornaments to it then I'll likely do that. IB season 3 Hunter and Warlock ornaments looked pretty good to me and season 2 Titan was good too.

You do know that they have to save the good armor till year three. We are gonna be getting re-hashed armor/weapons till then.

In general I wish they’d get more creative with cloaks and marks, beyond just patterns. A half cape over one shoulder, or a poncho like Hawthorne has stuff like that I know they don’t want to cover chest armor probably but they’re already hiding helmets with the hoods

2 RepliesAlmost all of the armor in D2 has been ugly, and way too much of it is reused (Errant Knight and New Monarchy faction gear for instance). This stuff, though... maybe the worst armor in Destiny history? At this point I’ll settle for a decent looking hunter cloak or two.

The armor designs going from D1 to D2 took a HUGE dive, they just kept getting better in D1, I can't say the same for D2... Besides the pieces they bring back from D1. At least I won't care to miss out on the wall outlet PS exclusive set lol
