Heads up on Solstice for non raiders
Just to let you know ahead of time, the chest upgrade for solstice armor is only available in prestige raid. Not sure what bungies deal is with this activity. They did the same with non raid weapon catalysts telesto and sleeper. This won't make people raid. Wake up bungie........

8 RepliesI mean if you're a non raider you are directly wasting and ignoring a huge part of the game. So it's common sense they can't get everything if you don't play a huge portion of the game. Catalysts arent a participation trophy and people need to stop crying when everything isn't handed to them.

They need add some sort of wheel in the game for mutes by pressing let's say down on d-pad will open up the wheel (a bit like GTA 5) and you'll have commands like dogs,chalice etc etc or blah blah needs someone to step on my plate (for the baths bit) and when you select these commands they show up on the side of the screen

13 RepliesSo the non raiders have gone from being collected and complacent, understanding that they are going direectly against the progression system of the game and being content wirh slower progression, to acting pissed of and side eying all riders in the last couple of months, to now throwing tantrums when gear they want requires raid completions even though this has largely been in place since day one.

9 RepliesYep been taking a break from D2 was looking forward coming back to the summer event but after seeing this well no point in taking part in the event at all....I hate normal raids the boring jumping puzzles and ball games....no way I want to suffer through prestige. So might as well wait and see how forsaken turns out not that I have any hopes for it to be good.

You can't have everything if you won't put the effort but man it wouldn't be so bad if they had multiple ways of obtaining things like having more options isn't bad but it's easier to force players to play one way. They could've locked all catalysts behind the raid and raid lairs I still wouldn't do them. I don't care for one boss, mecanichs heavy raids. Also if I didn't care about the raids since the beginning then i don't know why they think I would care about when they add some shitty catalyst. 7 ammo shots instead of 4? Whatever I'll just use lunafacation boots and feel like I have more than 7 shots. Still I hope the people that do them enjoy them at least, if they don't well hopefully they get their catalyst or other specific reward and get out.

bungie wanted to make getting to 405 pre-forsaken a challenge not something that is obtainable for everyone, but with the weapon catalysts like telesto i dont know what their deal is. in bungies defense lots of players did ask for harder content and harder everything in general and now bungie is giving back on the feedback and this is what we have, a challenge.
