Heads up on Solstice for non raiders
Just to let you know ahead of time, the chest upgrade for solstice armor is only available in prestige raid. Not sure what bungies deal is with this activity. They did the same with non raid weapon catalysts telesto and sleeper. This won't make people raid. Wake up bungie........

If I'm reading things correctly though, those are the requirements for upgrading the final armor set to the Masterwork version. If that's the case, I'm not that concerned with it.

Now they finally add a few good rewards for doing them and all of a sudden solo players are crying about it. Why I ask? Not even reddit is crying about this, just a small minut part of the community that can't handle not being able to hit 400 which means litteraly nothing. Raiders want a reason to do Prestige mode, Bungie gave them a reason and you all are trying to take that away. Why? This is a multiplayer game, if you care so much about loot and solo play go play Borderlands. This is a social live game. Not God of War or Call of Duty. Its almost MMO-esque. Are we missing some features for social grouping up? Yes, so complain and ask for that. Should some more end game solo activities be added? Sure so ask for that. Stop trying take away from something that barely has a reason behind it already because you guys cried about the raids giving out rewards all the way back in D1.

2 RepliesThe problem with the 400 gear is you have to wear it. It an only be infused into a similar exotic item. Also make sure you don't infuse it into anything else. If you do that item will only be 385 and no higher losing your 400 item. Seems to me it's pretty pointless if you cant wear what you want. Again Bungie doesn't really think through a full idea.

3 RepliesEven destiny 2 raiders are not loving these prestige versions. The loadout is fine, the modifier is garbage. They are boring and not fun. Most will grab a few guns and stop running them. Cant infuse the guns anyways, unless exotic. The only 2 worth keeping 405 are sins and coup. So maybe if you goy great rng a nd got sins, coup, and a pulse(infuse in graviton), you may have a useful 405 set of guns. Shotty may be ok for somethings as well. If you going to make it that much work, let us pick the gun we want and build our loadouts.

5 RepliesThis is just another sad attempt to make people play the raids. I play those with my clan but only when they want. Sometimes it can be so frustrating.... the damn raids are too complicated with a false feeling of difficult because sponge bullets enemies, over thinking mechanics that shouldn’t be that damn complicated (the first time they tried to explain me how to play the phases, [spoiler][/spoiler]I didn’t understand a shit), and the fricking damn lag! And all for what? Armor and weapons that aren’t that good anyways (I only like the hand canon and the rocket launcher) So making people play the raids to get just a pice of the armor?? That don’t even have something to with the raid??? Who the heck thought it was a good idea...

Bungie has always tried to shove people in to the multiplayer stuff knowing full well that some people just don't want to go. You would think they would have learned by now.

Yeah, this won't push me to do a prestige raid. It has helped to push me away from caring about the Solstice armour though.

Non raid weapons and armor should have nothing tied to the raids since they are not acquired from the raid, it makes no sense otherwise.

9 RepliesThis is about he worst way to go about doing this. They already made it a hassle to set up a raid team. A lack of a matchmaking system already means people don't raid due to the hassle of setting up a team. It would make a little more sense if there was a complete set of armor that was raid specific for the event. But just one part of the main event set? They're gonna end up with over half the player base walking around in the equivalent of a tuxedo with one orange sock.

I haven't done a raid since King's Fall. I'll probably give this a try, though. If you're on Xbox and, like me, not a huge fan of recent Destiny raids, feel free to add me and we'll do it... someday. Like maybe the night before the even ends or something. God I hate raids.

Yeah, I don’t think that was the right move. Some players play a lot, but don’t raid. Maybe they should have made armor look different. You should never cut players off.

Bungie: Community Event, let’s make all the rewards raid exclusive and the exotic catalysts too even though they make no sense at all (Looking at you Telesto, should have saved it for Forsaken)
