Listen... meditations are lame. Here's an idea to make them awesome, and make your lore crowd and solo players really happy. Create meditations that allow players to play as iconic guardians during major events in Destiny's history. Here's how it works: Player stumbles across a scannable object and scans it. It gives the player background on Lord Shaxx and the battle of twilight gap. Boom - meditation unlocked. You turn it in to Ikora and "Shaxx - Battle of Twilight Gap" is available in your meditation library. So, what is it? It's a mission where you get to play as Shaxx during the battle of twilight gap. Tits. Play as Saint-14 and headbutt a Kell to death. Play as Shin Malphur and GG Dredgen Yor to death (and obviously we would be playing with the Last Word the entire mission) Play as Eris Morn and escape the Hellmouth. Play as Kabr as he sacrifices himself to create the Aegis. Play as Zavala and retreat and be super careful all the time. Okay, probably not the Zavala one. After finding the scannable and completing the meditation, the player is rewarded with a unique armor piece that is either inspired by, or straight up taken from the guardian that they played as. Helm of Saint-14 is an obvious example. Since Meditations are currently the only way to replay missions - just allow players to replay any mission they want whenever they want (how was this not included in the first place?!). The player already experienced everything, so the missions could just be added to the meditation library once they're complete. I realize this is a stretch since a lot of content would need to be created, but go ahead and make it happen anyway :)
