The Postmaster in Destiny 2 has a limit of 21 items. Once the Postmaster is full, it will start automatically deleting the oldest item in the Postmaster inventory.
Pick up what you want to keep!

Nah mfer I clean my stuff but when you turn all your stuff in and it goes to the post master. How was i supposed to know there was a limit.

Since release. Technically since release of Destiny 1, because it has the same functionality. Bungie even made a Help Article about it, found here: https://www.bungie.net/mobi/en/about/Article?id=46166 There was one for Destiny 1 as well, but I can't find it right now.

How about handing in gun smith materials and getting no package at all

Are you trying to collect them at the Farm? Currently you can only pick up the Rank Up Rewards of the Gunsmith at the Tower Gunsmith.

Someone told me it was because i handed the materials in too fast but that shouldnt be an issue really

When I hand them in really fast (and I mean really fast), the Engrams sometimes seem to be delayed, but I still get them. I keep looking if it happens to me as well.

No it was at the tower i was handing in lots of tokens trying to get masterworks weapons and a few times i got no package at all and it's happened a few times

Would it be possible for you to record this issue the next time it is happening, and send me a link to it? I'm not aware of any issues at the Tower Gunsmith not giving out Engrams, and I haven't seen many threads on it either.
