The only time I bring my Hunter out is when I need to do a second Nightfall or something. But since I got the Ice Breaker both it and my Hunter have been collecting dust so I'm no expert what so ever. What I can say is I feared this super in Year 1 like no other super out there. You would hear that call out that there was a Blade Dancer and you would find the closest cliff to jump off so they wouldn't get points off you. That somewhat changed in year 2, if I was alone I would skate away, but if I had a teammate with me we would look for the little Ballerina and take them out.
Now I hear a Blade Dancer I hunker down and more than half the time take them out. With this change if someone tickles them I know for a fact I will be able to take them out if they are a few yards from me. The only way this is not going to happen is if they can shoot that wave at me or, what seems to be more common now they are in Predator mode and I don't even see them coming.
Since I main a Titan I'm hoping they don't do the same thing to Hammers and the health recharge. I normally don't run Hammers in PvP, I like my Defender or Striker. But in PvE that health recharge has saved my arse so many times. So I am hoping that there is another reason they did this that we don't know about and will learn in the full patch notes. Some kind of change that brings up a Blade Dancer somewhere else. Because if they do something with Shinobu's Vow that is in anyway a nerf they really gimped the Blade Dancer.
