Hey there PvP community! One question fo' ya.
Do you guys have to sweat your butts off EVERY SINGLE TIME you enter the PvP arena?? Would it KILL you to run anything besides Matador/Palindrome/Eyesluna??
In all seriousness guys let me know below, do you ever get bored running the same loadouts over and over and over again?
P.S. respect to all you fusion rifle-rs out there

EDIT: I can totally understand you guys wanting to play to win, especially for trials. Here's a follow up question - do you mix it up in control, clash, etc.? It's not like you have to win in those playlists, I play those to have fun rather than win.

Well, I suck regardless if I play meta or not. Using my very good Palindrome or Matador won't really help, so I prefer using my favorite guns like Scouts and Fusions, sometimes Sidearms.

1 ReplyI run fusion rifles and scout rifles most of the time, just because those are the types of weapons I like the most. In any shooter, I usually prefer the marksman rifles, and for power weapons, charge-up weapons like railguns have been my go-to choice. I use these weapons because they're fun to me. If they got nerfed to oblivion, I would still use them. If they were stupidly overpowered and frowned upon by everyone and their mother, I would still use them. If they were sweaty weapons that makes ruins everyone else's experience; as long as I'm having fun with them, I'll continue to use them. Luckily, they fall in some sort of middle ground compromise though.

I find them hard to use so i admire the players who are good with them. Shotguns: frustrating with the range but at the same time. See one coming at you, you still can evade try and counter it. Never mad at the player using it but mad at myself for failing to evade. Clever dragon: Just pure hate! Haha! That rate of fire. I am baffled at the speed of some players trigger finger. Its a pulse but i never hear any breaks between the bursts, not even a microscopic one. Just a never ending frrrrrrrrrrrrr and you stagger like a muppet and die. Tried it myself but i guess im too old for it. I can't fire it that fast.

1 ReplyI have fairly limited time to play destiny due to a long working week and wife and daughter waiting at home. So I use eyasaluna when doing weekly Shax bounties until the primary kills part is done, then change to whatever takes my fancy after that. I will admit though I do enjoy using my eyasluna. It's not even a hugely good roll though so I don't feel shitty about it. Smallbore and LiTC if anybody was wondering

1 ReplyI do get bored of running the same thing but being a person who strives to do good every game I usually stick with the meta. Every now and then I like to use something like an auto rifle and sidearm just to have some fun. I really wish they would change the meta. We are long overdue for a meta change.

Not everyone does this, but there are players with their pvp weapon set so glued to their hands that they pull it over to the pve side as well and never change it. That's their choice, I'm not looking to shame them. Hey, more trigger time with the same weapon means better accuracy. I just think it speaks about Bungie's failed attempt at achieving weapon diversity. 29 months later and weapons still aren't balanced enough to make using all of them reasonably viable.
