2 Players/1 Guardian - 2v3 Trials Flawless - #MOTW
This weekend, myself and a few friends decided to do something [i]silly[/i].
Ramblinnn and I typically do a flawless 2v3 Trials of Osiris card on Sunday nights, but a friend of mine, Chrisg2003bt was in town visiting. Not wanting to leave him out, we went ahead with the 2v3 card - but with Chris and I playing my character, together, at the same time.

[b]HOW[/b]
The XIM4 ([i]the adapter I use to play mouse and keyboard typically[/i]) requires that a controller be plugged into it in order to function. The controller inputs work simultaneously with the mouse and keyboard. I went ahead and disabled, via the XIM Manager application, the functions that Chris was to be in charge of.
Chris - R2, L1, R1, Square, and Triangle. That means he had shoot, melee, throw grenade, use super, reload, weapon swap, open ammo crates, and draw heavy weapon. [b]The damage dealing mechanics.[/b]
DrLupo - Left and right stick, circle, X, and L2. I was in charge of movement, aiming, ADS, jump, crouch, slide, shadestep, and sprint. [b]Essentially, the movement mechanics.[/b]

I don't care what the "rules" are, or for your opinion on the subject; you and anyone else who uses k&m on a console are nothing but cheats, and deserve to have your profiles wiped. Edit: I'm referring to using it playing Trials normally (or any shooter that could feel competitive to the general pop. of the game), and not the 2 people/1 controller thing.. Didn't make that as obvious as I meant to.

29 RepliesEdited by who_dat: 11/8/2016 4:37:07 PMu use a mouse+keyboard set-up on console? ...way to give yourself an unfair advantage... *edit: obviously for what he did in his 2v3, no it's not an advantage...I'm referring to when he is playing normal Trials or destiny PvP, that's where it's an unfair advantage. A mouse+keyboard beats controller almost every time. How difficult is a head shot when you simply mouse over your target and click? Now compare that with using two analog sticks....

Not because those players were so good, but because they didn't take normal damage and because they saw us at least 1 second earlier on their screens. So what does your video say? For me nothing, because a story always has two sides. I bet that many of your opponents went crazy, because on their screens they died even before they could see you ;) But hey, this is Destiny. Enjoy your wins.
