Stumbled across a two man fireteam on heroic strikes. The whole time they were sitting down and not doing anything until I received a message from one of them saying "Leave". I didn't reply and I left because I didn't wanna waste my time. But the question is why do people do this? I was just trying to raise my light level. I was the only one who was actually doing something. And it wasn't the omnigul strike, I doubt they will be farming for something on the cabal strike.

Wow dude I had the very same thing happen to me on an Omnigul strike on Saturday. During the day I was asked to leave 2 other times on strikes that jerks who were waiting for friends. On one strike I spawned just before the last room and one of the guys asked to join his fireteam. Ok I figured that they may be farming, or had some special game plan so I joined and bam he kicks me. I was really pissed off. Why be dick? No doubt he figured that they had gone this far . . . why share the glory? What the hell we don't pick where we spawn into. I have had plenty of guys spawn into areas after I have done the heavy lifting and could care less (good for them).

I'd have just finished the strike strike then respond with a "lol". If people are gonna be ass hats then just shit on 'em.

I actually run the shield bros strike to farm blues and they also both work with 3oc so it's been my go to for levelling. But i don't cheese it or anything. I just start it fresh again at 320 and just run it several times back to back. It's actually been more reliable to level up than the raid engrams.

7 RepliesMajority rules 2:1 You should have left Sitting down and messaging one person to leave is the communities way of saying they want you gone since we can't boot people in strikes

6 RepliesEdited by BL4DE RUNNER UK: 9/26/2016 11:05:17 PMI haven't had this. Yesterday I joined a strike (Sepiks) and was messaged: Join our fireteam and we will give you a boost. There were 2 of them already in the strike. I gave him some of my best dance moves and ran on to clear the refinery, ignoring the message. Shortly after they both left the strike. I have NO idea what they were up to. I'm LL 353 and happy to play, ya know, for fun. I don't know what they were offering to boost but if it was LL; Isn't it the point of the game, to get your own LL up and earn your stripes for endgame activities? And maybe to have fun doing it? Short cuts are for those that don't have the balls to do it the right way.

* shakes fist in air It's those damn kids and pesky teenagers!!! NO RESPECT I TELLS YA!

Haha I did this yesterday on the omnigul strike! I was running strikes with our 3 man when our 3rd got disconnected, a random joined in but we stayed seated and didn't move until he left (rather quickly) so that we could get our 3rd and continue on.

8 RepliesYeah wait to try to do archon forge and you have to get a hit in the boss and they drop down an insta kill the boss on your offering Instead of just hitting him with a primary so everyone can get credit
-
Yeah people are stupidly stubborn for the weirdest reasons. Considering this games lack of team work I wish it wasn't designed around it as much. For instance maybe instead of kills filling supers, all you'd need is damage. Would help since people are useless for many reasons.
-
I've had this happen too I called they guy out in it and he was like "sorry don't get upset my friends brother wants to join. " so making a fire team and quit wasting people's time

Edited by NationX: 9/26/2016 11:00:19 PMHad a lvl 370 not bother all strike just to use his super and then ran back and went afk. I Reported and then left. Do t really think the report function does anything
-
I would have sat down with them, and just do my homework or something else
-
2 RepliesWas it the wretched eye strike? If so maybe they were going for the siva cluster by the top of the rocket right before the boss. You only get 1 shot then have to wipe because the grates fall down
-
2 RepliesThey had another person in the fire team that got dropped likely. They were probably trying to get that person back in and the game matched you in.
-
It's happened to me twice. It's mad. It's a matchmaking strike and I'm messaged to leave. I'm sure it will settle down in the coming weeks... it's just kiddies farming to get to raid level.
-
Wow there are alot of people upset over nothing in this game. I get the afk thing but the other rubbish? Being run over by sparrows? Melees? Stop being so serious!

5 RepliesThere is another version of the dicks in strikes: the idiots who melee you at every opportunity. This happened a couple hours ago to me. This afternoon one team member sprinted ahead of myself and another gamer as the Taniks strike began. I ran to catch up. As I arrived in the area before the room with Taniks I realized the third gamer was still behind. I stopped and waited for him to join me. Then we proceeded to run to the first player, who was fighting enemies alone. As soon as we arrived the first gamer began to melee attack me. WTF? I struck him back and then left the strike. I will not tolerate this bullshit.

they were probably in the same house giving each other the snug and tug, don't feel to bad, you just interrupted the big score.

3 RepliesSit down, respond back with "ladies first". Heroics are meant to be a social game mode. Don't let pricks like that push you out of an event.

1 ReplyStrikes are the worst part of the game, even with Clan mates.....I used to like them in year one, but now they just suck.
-
You are what you eat :3
-
This is why I only do strikes with my clans. So tired of ppl being AFK or leaving soon as the strike starts. I rather just form my own 3 man team.
-
2 RepliesAlso, what is it with randoms meleeing and teabagging in strikes? Seriously, that kind of childish behaviour pisses me off...
-
1 ReplyI would have stayed and pissed them off. If they wanted to get a friend in there with them then they could have backed out and gotten him in their fireteam
-
1 ReplyBecause they feel entitled. I'd welcome a newbie before I welcome a veteran.

6 RepliesI like to chill in a corner jumping up and down to avoid afk kick in strikes. I watch a movie and just keep tapping jump
