Stumbled across a two man fireteam on heroic strikes. The whole time they were sitting down and not doing anything until I received a message from one of them saying "Leave". I didn't reply and I left because I didn't wanna waste my time. But the question is why do people do this? I was just trying to raise my light level. I was the only one who was actually doing something. And it wasn't the omnigul strike, I doubt they will be farming for something on the cabal strike.

I've dealt with that behavior for so long it's ridiculous. Matchmaking needs to be optional on strikes, even when you have a fireteam of two. This goes out to those players. (You know who you are) Rule #1. If you are farming strikes, have a fireteam of 3. Simple right? Rule #2. Please stop being that guardian that constantly goes afk and skips to the end or wait for others to get through the difficult parts. Especially if your running consecutive strikes. Rule #3. If your on a fireteam of two. Don't get your sparrow and run over and kill the player that joins. Very disrespectful. (Immediate Report) I know I sound salty as hell. But I have a right to be just like many others that have had to go through this. I'm still going to run strikes and get through it like always. Just hope players can learn to be more respectful and help others get through strikes to get that sweet loot.

I would've done the waiting game too, just go do some meme gaming until the other side broke and left.

3 RepliesMe and some friends were farming omnigul and one of us dropped out, when people joined we were very polite In asking them to give up the spot so our friend could get back into farm People were cool with it & there isn't any need to be a dick about it (be polite and people are happy to help) Sorry you had a crappy experience, some people just do not care

I was farming omnigul with some lfg guys and one had to put his kids to bed so he left. So me and the other guy decide to just kill omnigul then kill her again in the boss room the guy that joined just ran in an died so we didn't get to kill her before the room. Then he refused to respawn because he probably wanted to farm. At that point I want to get my artifact and be 365. So the guy I was teamed with tethered omnigul and I activate radiance and start spamming grenades we die from ads the random runs onto the bridge and sits down. So we have to fight her again for no reason. We did the together radiance grenade spam again and this worked a lot better and we kill her. Titan gets a skeleton key for doing nothing but I finally Got to 365 and am now raid ready.

4 RepliesI would have replied "Jokes on you, I have a copy of Monster Hunter and a fully charged DS, seems we shall be here for a while."

1 ReplyIm sick of the opposite. Ill be playing with a friend and unless we have a 3rd friend whatever rando we get its like the first time they have ever played destiny. They try and bum rush the boss in heroic and immediately die. They try and revive when an army of adds are charging them instead of just running the map till you respawn. 99% of the time they get less then 50 kills to out 150+ each. Drives me nuts

1 ReplyI would have pissed them off and just sat down next to them. Would then use that time to go for a poo and read stuff on the forums.

Encountered a similar situation, two French guys in a fire team just went AFK at the boss (Valus) and repeatedly sent me messages telling me to leave. Being stubborn I obviously went and sat with them, proceeded to annoy them & bait them… long story short, I got some very abusive messages over PSN which resulted in numerous reports to Sony from me & they eventually gave in and finished the strike for me ☺️

I've never had it happen, it must be an Xbox thing. Not sure though. I'm not trying to knock Xbox, I just know they are different communities.

6 Replies1) Invite them to your fireteam 2) Wait for them to join 3)Kick them, and enjoy.

Usually people in destiny are pretty chill. One time, we were playing the flayers strike and i turn one of the colossus on our side using the artifact. We stood there dancing while the colossus took out the entire cabal troops. After 25 sec, we were shotgun ready and killed it the second it turned back. One guy did the laughing emote and sent a party invite. We then played for 6 or 7 strikes before we had to get off. I left with two more friends in destiny. However my worst experience was in year 1 was when we spent doing crota's end for a couple hours and this one spoiled little shìt kicked me just as we were killing the boss. Needless to say he is banned(good riddance) but it left a sour taste in my mouth knowing there are people like them. I learned to make good friends in the game and trust them.

3 RepliesWhen this happens to me, I get something to eat and watch youtube moving my character ever so slightly from time to time until they leave. I don't care how long it takes.
-
You should've just sat down too and used your phone. I won't leave for now one. Momma didn't raise no bitch.
-
One thing about dicks... there's always a bigger one. If I were you, I would have been the bigger dick and stayed in the Strike slapping them. After all, most girls prefer 1 big dick over 2 little dicks.

2 RepliesI hate when u die and they walk by your ghost

Today was the first time since the dlc I've actually had a problem with randoms not wanting to participate in strikes. If I see someone not participating I leave immediately
-
Shoot I would gotten up and made a sandwich
-
After getting the message I would've just sat down and stared at them until their asses left. My light level can wait.
-
If I actually had the DLC, I would be supporting as many people as I could.

8 RepliesI read that as "why do people suck dicks" in strikes

I've actually been seeing more friendly randoms in strikes than ever before lately
