Why not have the power to equip 3 exotic weapons?
It is as if Bungie is limiting their potential, who cares if it is OP we would all truely love the fact that we could run an exotic sword, plan c and or whatever! For example, CoD only limits you 10 selections for MP. Lame..

I like it if they limit it to Mayhem or private matches. Otherwise it should block you from doing any other activity.

2 RepliesI think a more reasonable thing (new artifact maybe) would be to allow three exotics overall: a weapon OR an armor piece, not both. I can just imagine how much butt my Titan would kick with Ruin Wings AND Armamentarium. And my Hunter could certainly have fun with SUROS Regime and Invective.

We already can equip 4. Gun, Armor, Class Item, Emblem.

I do like having balance in the game, I prefer to not have a set best amazing loadout. 3 exotics at once is a one way ticket there. Maybe, in select activities it's a good idea, or in private matches. Not the regular game.

Because that would be broken as hell? Legendaries would have literally no purpose.

Let me toss my idea for this to work in this lets talk weapons. The 3 BIG year ones. Thorn icebreaker ghorn. Lets say you have all 3 you can equip all 3 BUT: whatever is the first ro be equipped is what gets its exotic perk. So if thorn was first; it would have its DoT. If it was ghorn that was first: wolfpack would be usable. Sense icebreaker kinda has 2 exotic perks only the titular icebreaker perk will be cancelled if it wasnt the first to be selected

Then they wouldn't be exotic and it would make so many legendaries redundant. Also boring, OP, etc. If we had an artifact that allowed us [i]one[/i] additional exotic then that would be pretty cool, but still OP.

Ive done a lot of thinking on this topic. The reason why we can only have one exotic weapon and armour piece, is because it "would have" made guardians to OP. Like i said would have. But thanks to the group of people who are trying to balance the weapon system, also destroyed many exotics making them on the same level as legendary weapons and gear. So unless they fix this i say why not have more than one exotic equipped. The suck anyways

Not only that why would you want to? They're nurfing everything to the point where they're legendaries anyway why bother?
