Companion App R.I.P. on Legacy Console
Would be nice to have separate app for those Legacy console users...
As of now (08/16/16) "Destiny" Companion app is only for PS4/XBox One.

4 Repliesi have to fully agree with this....even IF it is simply because bungie cant be bothered to keep the system running for legacy players there was no need to update it in such a way that blocked third party apps that were completely stand alone from bungie...as it is and the way they have changed it now not even third party apps can be used if your legacy....luke i said..if they didnt want the hassle(as thats all legacy players appear to be to them now)then they should have left it in a way that third party apps coukd still do the transfers..then bungie wouldnt even have had to do anything

13 RepliesI understand why they had to switch consoles but the app? That one just left me blown away! Dont tell me its because the app can't handle ps3/360 players cause of the graphics or something... This sucks cause im not getting a ps4 till the new version comes out

35 RepliesThe 360 is 10 years old, ps3 nine I think. Any other type of hardware being used for that long is laughable, and I don't mean this as a slight towards those owners because I still have my old consoles. It was bound to happen, and was known it was going to happen since destiny came out, they just never gave a set time of when it would have. If people still are clinging to these old systems then they need to move on

Do you know how much I depended on this app, whenever I raid ppl aways ask to bring ToM or gjallarhorn or something. But it's too late and I already loaded in, so I have to back out, go get the @$&# come back loading. It's exhausting

Screw bungie for cutting us off completely. I get not having the expansion bc our consoles can't handle it. But seriously?! Just shutting us down is bull****. Why should we be punished for not being able to afford to upgrade consoles? At least keep supporting the app so we can enjoy what this game has to offer.

23 RepliesApparently Bungie did not make money on Destiny.(bullsh__) They just don't give a shi_ about the players. I guess they forgot where they came from and how they got to where they are. It's a shame to have watched, since day one, the decline of the Destiny experience, after TTK. And the abandonment of Bungie, to its loyal players, just to make more money. On a payé plus de 100€ pour jouer a ce jeu et aujourd'hui on peut même plus voir nos progrès moins de 2 ans après la sortie du jeu. Vous avez vraiment cru qu on allait payé 600€ de plus pour garder notre grimoire ? Si un jour j achète la ps4 çà sera pas pour destiny.
