Is it unethical to be racist against a fictional race?
You see a lot of hate across the internet for fictional raves for one reason or another. A really recent example is Synths from fallout 4. I'm sure you've all seen the phrase "[i]That sounds like something a dirty synth would say[/i]". So how about it #Gaming, is it morally incorrect to be bigoted against unreal races?
Edit: This is my biggest thread to date guys, thanks for all the thought provoking conversation!
On a side note, a tangent of this thread has developed into a debate of whether or not Synths have free will and sentience. Feel free to jump in!

Well, without jumping into the Synth debat. Which i must say reminds me of the Geth debates (are they alive or not) from the Bioware Mass effect forums. No, its nit racist at all.
