Stormtrance takes no skill....
Sorry this isn't the usual "nerf" post....or is it lol. Seriously people just float/blink towards enemies and don't even have to aim. I know people are going to come in here and say supers in general take no skill but stormtrance by [b]far[/b] has the highest kill potential and is the easiest in terms of aiming and movement. Bladedancers and hammer of sol has its limitations but stormtrance had very little.

I'm in the middle of building a Stormtrance warlock to learn more about them. I don't have the sub class maxed yet, but from what I've seen so far makes me think it's not as OP as I first thought. I'm still figuring out how to use the super correctly. Right now I would have to say there is nothing too easy or too OP about the Stormtrance warlock. Just need to figure out how to counter him. Best way to learn that is by building a character and playing it.

It's slow, which leaves you in the open when rushing someone and gives them a easy chance to kill you. Not to mention that it doesn't kill quickly, takes like four ticks of landing hits, so people can run away easily. [spoiler]Just like every other super, it has pros and cons, and it's pretty damn easy to use.[/spoiler]

If you were a stormcaller, you would understand the problem, almost every super can 1 fuk you, and there is no point for dropping your stormtrance super when ypu get it and you cant even make 1 damage because you run too slowly, thats your problem, you all cannot understand how to run and evade, If I was you I would think two times, if there is an stormcaller, I would not be pretty close with my group, stormcaller super attaches every enemy. And stprmcaller has no shield. Why are you complaining about it?

2 RepliesI killed a titan as he popped sun bro at full hp. Shotguns do wonders. I killed a darth sidious while he was blinking at me, with a suros regime and a shotgun. I shotgun melee'd a night stalker, golden gun, and blade dancer yesterday. I sniped a void walker as he started his super. I fist-blam!-led a sunsinger while I was in sunsinger. I shotgun melee'd a striker titan. And I floated into a titan bubble while casting Nova bomb, resulting in Satan's ass hole blowing up like he had taco bell with Diablo sauce and Chipotle right after inside said bubble. I also had a hammer and panic smash kill me on the other side of a wall, a golden gun kill me but not the Guardian in front of me, a blade dancer that made me die by just looking at me (lol, it had an explosive symbol in between our names), a sunsinger bolt grenade 1 shot me, a night stalker arrow hard turn into me around the corner, a stormtrance 1 shot me, and a Nova bomb inital blast kill me through a wall. All happened yesterday. Also, stormtrance is the only super (minus defender titans) that doesn't instantly kill a guardian, so of course they need something that can be on par with some supers. Titan smash still has a huge kill radius, which I'm (semi)fine with, so good luck with that lol.

6 Repliesmy only problem with stormtrance is that you can get killed by it at point A... go through the countdown timer and by the time you respawn at point C that same mother fukcer is already there still in his super waiting to kill you again... LOL.

Warlock sits nice and high in the air, whilst slowly moving around the map, (slower than bide dancer and hammers) Headshot sniper kill, or shot gun melee. It's not that difficult. It looks easy when players run away or group up to close, allowing chain damage. Spread out a little, aim and shoot. You can hear it's activation across the map!

Yeah.. Usually your super isn't meant to be be most skillful thing in your class, it's supposed to be powerful and a way to rack up kills.

Literally no super is especially hard to use. Not even the bubble, you just put it down and kill stuff around it.
