Can't complete exotic sword quest
The quest shows that I've defeated the warden of oryx but it won't show that I killed the darkblade. I have done the strike exactly how the quest wants me to twice but it won't complete the quest. Can you please solve this problem?

3 RepliesYou have to kill the specific Warden [b]FIRST[/b] and then kill the Darkblade [b]SECOND[/b] and within a timeframe of less than 30 seconds from when the Warden goes down. This is a very specific quest and I would say you want to accomplish it within 15-20 seconds to give yourself play room. And you have to do that with the specific Warden for whatever specific element sword you are going for. So if for RazeLighter, you have to get rid of the arc & void Wardens, leave the solar Warden alive. Whittle him and the Darkblade down to next to nothing. Kill the Warden and then IMMEDIATELY kill the Darkblade. What yours is showing you is that you are not doing it either in the right order or within the allotted timeframe.

Delete the quest then re-aqquire it from the Abandoned Quest Kiosk. It will still be on the same step, just without the Warden filled in. Then run the strike again- making sure you kill the correct Knight no more than 30 seconds before you kill the Darkblade. Knight first- then Darkblade.
