It's true. Bungie screwed us over! I'll never get to play the new dlc now. :(
Edit: I would like someone from Bungie to confirm this.

1 ReplyThink thats a bit crap i can understand d2 being current gen only but not this dlc i can see bungie losing quite few fans if its true
-
I know it's shit . I really do I had to save up for months to get a ps4. It was well worth the wait
-
Glad I'm switching to PS4
-
2 RepliesAnd where did you hear this? Because it sounds like BS to me. Don't be gullible, wait for an official comment.

Edited by CMoneyStreth: 6/8/2016 8:38:34 PMIsn't this logical progression? Why is anyone surprised at this? I am assuming you owned one of the consoles before the ps3 and 360 so why did you upgrade then and not now? I'm pretty sure there was roughly 5 years between the 360 and original xbox.
-
How are people even surprised or mad at this news baffles me. You really didn't think this day will ever come?
-
People with 360 and PS3 can't expect to be supported forever especially 2+ years into the new gen systems!
-
1 ReplyHhahahha no more destiny for you child.
-
Whether it's true or not, the time is coming when you're gonna have to upgrade.
-
I'd be surprised if it wasn't on last gen, and would consider it unfair. D2 shouldn't be though.

11 RepliesEdited by Straight Snack: 6/8/2016 8:13:22 PMLast gen is LAST gen, current gen games should be on current gen consoles only
-
Just pointing out you could by ttk on next gen, months before last gen but still release in time to play

50 RepliesEdited by JekzOne iAk: 6/8/2016 8:54:17 PMCan't even voice your opinion without little queers coming in talking shit... Don't like it then go do one nobody Cates about you mate...
-
2 RepliesBut if this is true, imagine the content without limitation.
-
You've had a while to prepare
-
4 RepliesThis might be a stupid question but, if I buy a ps4, will my old data transfer to from ps3 to Ps4? And do I have to buy all the map packs again?
-
Sorry to you guys but if it's true then it's about time. My friend found a brand new Xbox one on craigslist for 100
-
Edited by LuGetsYou: 6/8/2016 8:30:15 PMGreat decision. Current gen is 3 years old. You knew this day was coming and had plenty of time to safe money to upgrade.
-
I would think that this update is probably a prep for Destiny 2. Some new coding to try out or what not.
-
I'm sure they will have a period if you buy it you can port from last gen to current. Bite the bullet get a xbox1/ps4 you'll need it soon anyways not many games will be made on 360/ps3 anymore
-
Edited by TGI Skuldier: 6/8/2016 8:27:45 PMIt's time to move on but it would have been a good idea to give one final warning earlier instead of just going whoops only current gen this time 😜
-
You only screw yourself by hanging on to the past. Xbox one is now $299
-
5 RepliesYo OP, here's a link with info for you post: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2016/06/destiny-expansion-leak-hints-to-official-abandonment-of-last-gen-platforms/ This was coming eventually. It'll be nice to see what Destiny can really do. With new hardware coming from both Microsoft and Sony, this fall will also be a good time for holdouts to upgrade.
-
Isn't Xbox dropping/no longer supporting 360 then end of this year anyway?
-
Much respect to you guys that rock out on last gen
-
5 RepliesI can sympathize with the many reasons why someone may have not moved on to the current gen yet and are holding on to their old consoles. I really can. Hold on to them as long as you want and they still work and provide you entertainment. That being said, they are over 10 years old (and in technology years, that is ancient) and anyone who hasn't moved on to the current generation has no right to feel entitled to any new games or updates to continue to be provided to them. It is surprising they have been supported this long. At some point, you have to leave the past in the past. So continue to use them as long as you want, just don't be so surprised or upset when new games or content doesn't come out for them.
