It's true. Bungie screwed us over! I'll never get to play the new dlc now. :(

Dropping last-gen on an Expansion, instead of a new game release is pretty stupid IMO. Anyway, you guys have four months to get ~$400 which shouldn't be that difficult to do.

If you don't have a job or are still in high school and such then do chores for your parents and start getting an allowance. If your family is having hard times with money then a video game really shouldn't be your number one priority. Try and help them by getting a part time job and getting your own spending money. Not trying to be rude but it's really not that hard.

If you're on an old gen console I feel for you, but you'd have to be pretty oblivious not to see something like this coming in the near future. They didn't screw you, they just stopped developing a current gen game for decade-old hardware. I get it, consoles are expensive and not everybody can just drop $300. While you might not get any new content for Destiny on your PS3 or 360, the players on PS4 and Xbox One will be able to finally get content that can live up to its technical potential. There are so many features that haven't been able to be in the game because of the inclusion of last gen consoles, and the time and resources it takes to develop something on 4 different platforms is insane. If the leaks are accurate, you have until September 20th to save up some money for the expansion and a new console. That's plenty of time if you wish to continue playing. If not, oh well.

1 ReplyPretty sure i just saw somewhere it was confirmed on 360 and ps3. Im all for getting rid of old gen but you can't do it with an EXPANSION on a pre existing game. That's just a kick to the balls. Destiny 2 will be current gen only.

Bungie didn't screw you over this was going to happen sooner than later it's all part of gaming even life... I understand some people can't upgrade and I'm not one of the people who think you're holding our gen back but I do think you shouldn't feel entitled to dlc you paid for your game you got your game they don't have to keep adding to it especially if they want to move forward I'm tired of people acting like last gen deserves more from destiny you can't keep getting dlc forever and face it destiny 2 will only be next gen

My cousin brought her PS4 in 300$, my friend from Oklahoma brought her PS4 in the same price. Sadly I can't buy a PS4 because my family is in a crisis with money right now. It's really hard for some people.

So wait. You can afford internet, the system, and games, but can't afford a new system? Your parents pay just as much for internet every year for the same price as a new system. It's been 3 years since PS4 and Xbone came out.
