Stop asking other people on forums if a weapon is good or not, it's concerning.
A lot of people are asking on forums if a certain weapon is good or not and it's concerning because a lot of people on forums apparently have a short attention span.
Look, guys, we're all friends here but if you seriously don't know if a gun is good or not then get off of your device, pick up your controller and go and use it.

But people need to be told what's good.... Not test it for themselves :( The joys of today's gamers! I'd rather use the weapon and see if I like it :)

Should I be using the Golden Gun? Or just spit the 3 bullets into the air, so my super goes away and I get my primary back.

Some people just know they got God rolls on a gun and want to show it off. I rarely see anyone straight up asking if a gun is any good. Most of the time it comes down to personal preference anyway. Not everyone likes high rate of fire weapons like Grasp of Malok & Doctrine of Passing, but the community will tell you those are good weapons.

Dude if u don't like it get off the forums because I know for a fact there is a lot of different topics of weapon perks or just the weapon itself these forums are flooded with cry babies

People often ask whether a gun is good or not so they can go grind or buy it rather than grinding for hours or wasting materials for a bad weapon.

2 RepliesWhen the nightfall was the taken archon priest, i was reading a post about the overall experience. [b]That day I learned to never trust a weapon recommendation on this forum[/b], some random pleb was talking about good guns on that strike. Sure, the nightfall that week had Specialist as a modifier, but that DOES NOT justify using Patience and Time in a boss fight where ads are raining every few seconds. I dunno why I choose that trash sniper instead of a black hammer/Yardstare, but I did regret it deeply.

1 ReplyI only ask a general question like what rolls would be optimal on a fusion rifle and if (x) perk set would be a decent roll. I ask questions on weapon types I don't know much about, which is basically fusions.

We have a forum dedicated to discussion of Destiny. Weapons are a key component of Destiny. Some people discuss Destiny weapons on the Destiny forum. This bothers you for some reason. My advice, skip the threads if you find it upsetting. Asking "is this good?" is at worst (brag in disguise or dumb question) no more pointless than the majority of posts here, and it can be beneficial because the experience multiple people have had with a weapon over time is probably more meaningful than somebody's snapshot opinion formed during patrol.

Well said. The proof is in the pudding. Use it yourself. Switch the perks up and try different rolls. Try it on all characters - some subclass perks wake guns up.
