I'll come back to Destiny full time if...
Shadestep gets nerfed to one use per cool down, firebolts no longer have DOT, and smoke no longer limits your movement.
Edit: I wouldn't mind if all the subclass abilities were taken. Let the gun skill reign. The only thing I would say to keep is a choice of your favorite jump ability so the vertical game wouldn't change from what everyone is used to.
Anyone else have any stipulations for a full time return? List them below.
Edit: Sorry but not sorry...all you Hunters out there using that Squid subclass better enjoy it for now because that nerf to shade step is coming. Titans, and Warlocks have already been looked at this year and there is one big update left this year so you know what that means.

Shade step is fine... it's how we avoid hammers, storm trance, quivers, stickers, and so on... find a counter like I do instead

3 RepliesFirebolts aren't the problem. Why is it that people always complain about Firebolts? The problem is the Viking Funeral Build. Why are people too ignorant to realize this? Maybe because they sit back and complain a whole lot instead of using their brain, something that they never used since they learned to walk as a child. This is coming from a person who likes all classes and don't see any problems. There are counters for every class and subclass, and also abilities.

There are so many iterations of that concept already, if that's what you want, why not go play one of those? Destiny is much better when it's doing its own thing. Frankly, I wish it would stop trying to copy those games as much as it currently does, and really embrace its potential to be unique.

Nothing needs a nerf. Either you need what they got, or you just need to get better. I'm a below average player, and I never cry for something to get nerfed. I just want what is wasting me and try to get better.

1 ReplyInteresting ideas. I like the shade step idea, but don't see smoke or fire bolt changing. When you say no abilities were you thinking of a separate crucible game mode? I think that would be cool.

Dude, why are you playing Destiny? Go back to CoD or Battlefield. Not being an ass. You literally don't want to play Destiny based on how you want everything but jumping stripped. Hate to break it to you, but, this may not be the game for you. I'd rather play Destiny, thanks.

7 RepliesYes please get rid of the one thing that makes smoke grenades useful, the one thing that makes the firebolt grenade viable, and the only reason that anyone would use shadestep. While were at it we can make all the enemies be cute puppies and the guns will be flowers that shoot kisses. Change the name of the game to "LOVE" and take out the darkness, the killing, the weapons, the armor, and the guardians. Perfect well done
