Destiny 2 should be rated M
That way we could get darker themed storylines. Executing dregs one by one to extract information. Watching blood splatter. Cayde making adult jokes. Giving the middle finger emote. Bringing back assassinations. The possibilities are endless. The T rating really held destiny back.

I would go for a "Blinded By the Light" theme in which the role of the Traveller and Light as a force for good, and the other races as a force for evil, are called into serious doubt. Including Guardians openly defying - or even working against - the Vanguard.

1 ReplyDestiny was originally going to be rated M if you look at really old previews for it. I'm guessing they toned it down to get the T rating in order to boost sales. Since a large portion of their sales would come from parents buying video games for their children, it makes sense. Its just like most super hero movies are rated PG 13 instead of R.

Those are all things that Bungie has never incorporated into their games, regardless of previous M ratings. They're just not interested in making those kinds of games.
