Recently, I have been getting kicked out of a lot of trials LFG teams because I'm 14. I am pretty decent at trials and try to support team play. Sure, I may find stupid innuendos hilarious, or vice versa, but is that enough to warrant a swift kick as soon as I join the party? I've made this post to find out why people usually have a vendetta against "youngsters." Is it because our voices aren't as low, or our chests don't look like the Amazon Rainforest? Also, do you kick all squeakers, no questions asked, or are you willing to make an exception?
Note: I am not making this post to look for trials teams or friends. Just a question

Ya. Didn't read the post or your stats.
-
I'm 14 too on PS3. I'm down for Trials.
-
Haha I know how ya feel I'm 14 too, although my Aussie accent covers up me sounding a bit younger then others, but it can still be a struggle to find a raid group sometimes with the horrible reputation we have
-
Im 14 but i got a deep voice.
-
Yes, I would, I have no problems with young players. All young players aren't as annoying as some people make them out to be, it's only certain kids. But the thing is, that's everywhere with everyone, certain adults are annoying as hell, too. My little brother (15) is much better than me a Trials and we always have fun running it. It used to be my mate and I (both 20, and 22) with my brother.

Im 26 and sometimes sound like a squeeker if I get really excited etc during a match, its extremely rare but imo everyone does at some point, anyway... as long as you're talking about the game at hand, making call outs, giving tips on where the enemy is if you die....that's all I care about...I'd rather that than someone pretty good that says sweet fa the entire match. In any case, I run with a friend every weekend, we get our flawless then attempt to help others get theirs too, with a decent amount of success. One of the guys we regularly play with now is a cheeky son of bitch that we met in an elimination match in which his team mates left him 1v3 upon spawning in, he still went for the win every round, and I thought what an absolute beast!, since playing with him I've yet to see another titan as good. Legitimately unbelievable this kid is. Anyway, he's 14, and age is just a number, we were all there at some point! If you're on ps4 throw a fr my way if you like!

It is not the voice, but the fact that they wont stop taking for no reason. It is just annoying!

1 ReplyWe tried carrying young-ins like yourself to the lighthouse several times. A lot of them suddenly disconnect. We receive messages shortly after. Here are some of the messages we received: 1. My dad turned off the Xbox because I had to fold the laundry. 2. Sorry guys, I had to eat dinner but I'm back now. Can we try again? (An hour later) 3. Hey guys, I had to go to the mall with my parents. And many more... Same thing for raids. It's very annoying and this is why squeakers have a reputation. If you're young and have chores to do, make sure you set aside at minimum 1 solid hour to play.
-
If your not annoying, no I won't kick you. But for the love of Pete if you start prattling on about random shit without stopping, you won't be able to clock that bick

Its just that unexplainable hatred of an age gap I guess. People get intimidated that they are possibly on the same level of a kid and thus they have to find like minded people in their age group to run with. I have a relatively softish voice and people think Im the youngest, then turn out to be the oldest in the party. People judge, it sucks, but it happens. Dont take it personally, its just how people are

1 ReplyWent 8-1 with a squeaker sadly enough my dog pushed my joystick and that ended it for us

(Is 14 not a squeaker)

315 titan. Gt o Tonny o, kd 1.99

I can deal with kids if they listen.
-
I'm 16 My voice is high, not going to lie. I try not to talk too much, or just focus on the game and only talk about callouts. I think most people don't like squeakers that ramble on and on. Nobody gives a shit if johnnys dating Sara at your school. I don't care if you made the baseball team. The squeakers that ramble off-topic and just constantly talk are usually the ones getting kicked.
-
If you literally never stop talking, I'm out. I just went flawless with a 15 year old, age doesn't matter as long as your not an annoying, entitled, spoiled little -blam!-.
-
I don't care unless their youth shows or they are squeakers, or if they suck cause of their age
-
I've played with a young person yesterday. When I heard the voice I was surprised and wondered if he's going to be annoying. He did not talk as much as another young person I once met and I was glad about it. He was not annoying, and his plays were decent. Callouts were good. Had a fun run.
-
I don't care how old someone is, it's just whether or not they are rude or don't know when to stop taking.
-
Don't mind playing with younger people if they don't annoy me.
-
Sure. Probably teach me something. I'd be the rookie. Never did Trials
-
My brother's 13 and he's one of my go-to teammates for going flawless in trials. He just needs to learn how to 1v3 clutch more better, but that's his only weak point. So yeah, I'd play with a 14 year-old if he's on my brothers skill level.
-
Pro tip: talk less and you will be fine especially with that KD

Edited by SCI 22: 4/18/2016 11:53:04 AMIf you're not eating your mic and saying "UPDAWG" or "DEEZ NUTS" to a point of overkill, or if you're not a dbag trying to boast off his skill and trash talking others who are "not as skilled" then sure why not. I don't mind kids at all. Its just the really annoying ones I do mind along with annoying adults.

5 RepliesQuick question, do you know hat vice versa is and do you think you used it properly?
