I am 48 years old and played Destiny for +2.000 hours but.....u can't be serious Bungie?
Sorry for any bad grammar but English is not my native language. I am an old guy, I like playing chilled, with cool people, etc. Including the Beta, I played Destiny for more then 2.000 hours, and I loved every single minute.....pretty much. I don't like competitive stuff like PvP but whatever. I pretty much stopped playing Destiny when my main character reached 320. I had no reason to push my other characters too. It became kinda boring doing the same stuff over and over again for crappy loot. I was waiting for new content. I hoped for stuff like "old raids with new gear" etc. But Bungie did the complete opposite! Why?
I got a clan with more then 100 players, I got a friends-list with more then 200 people, I asked around, POE was the least favorite. Bungie, do you listen to your community at all? Why? POE? SERIOUS? I work as a retailer in a game-store, I get tons of games for free and I will play a lot of other games for the next period of time, but for sure no Destiny. Destiny=Arena shooter with high-score and time-limit? You must be kidding me! This will be pretty cool for kids with ADD-syndrome but not for an old guy like me. Thank you Bungie for the great time I had with you and your awesome game, now its time to leave. I am sad, very sad....... greetz from Germany :-(

PoE is less fun than raids, most people agree. However, logistically it may be the easiest to update, so I get it. I'd rather they spend more energy on Destiny 2 because it has far more potential than this game. See you back when Destiny 2 comes out! Here's hoping that it will be more epic than we expect!

2 RepliesI see it as Bungie going: "oh wow....people really didnt like that...in fact that's their LEAST favorite...we should focus on that then. Any ideas? Anyone? Let's make it better!" And that makes sense to me. It'll be fun to have a reason for PoE.

1 ReplyI am 40 the simple fact is that are focusing their efforts on Destiny 2. The live team has been given the job to add content between now and Destiny 2. Right now there are a lot of new titles out taking players away. This makes it difficult for the majority of the player base to round up 6 players for a raid. It's much easier to get a couple of friends and play a 3 person event. POE being the size it is allows them to reuse that activity and rework it compared to a 6 person Raid. Bungie planned on people taking breaks however so many people love Destiny they are being very negative and outspoken because of the lack of new content. If Destiny 2 is next gen only this should allow quicker turnround on content as there will be fewer hoops to jump thru. Take a break several games are out. Destiny isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I'm 48 - have not been playing much destiny lately mainly to give Division a good flogging and kind of ran out of destiny things to do that I care about Probably playing more 4/13 (when bungie gets the stuff working again after they break it 4/12)
