Ride Along on the Dreadnought is currently live, tuned in for 10mins and it's something Bungie is 6 months too late with.
Playthrough TTK missions?
Showing concept art? Really? Unless Bungie recently acquired a DeLorean and spent the past year developing a flux capacitor, they may have not noticed everybody else and their granddads pet (except me) has been grinding the same content for the past 6 months and know what the Dreadnought looks like.
Oh and sorry, all three of you sound absolutely depressed, like suicidal depressed... Maybe it's the stress of having too many lapdances, or too much coke?
Make sure you tune in next weeks Twitch stream all about the Festival of the Lost! We'll show you some of the exclusive masks you could earn during the event which was 4 months ago.
In other news : The Division is out in less than a week, I've preordered my Gold Edition. Preloading begins tomorrow!!
PS4 gamers, Uncharted 4 Beta is now available for download too, activates over weekend.
EDIT - Some people are missing the point, this is not a "buy The Division" or "Destiny sucks" thread, Bungie recently vowed to improve communication, whilst communicating MORE is a step in the right direction, but communicating RELEVANT information is more important. This stream might have been more relevant in Sep/Oct 2015 (I'm fully aware Bungie recently spent your Silver $ on a snazzy in-house studio). If Bungie are really going to communicate better, talk about current issues in the game and how they're looking to tackle it: RNG, Raid relevancy, Missing Exotics and Shaders, Crucible Matchmaking, Connection, Balance, Error Codes etc.
Update - You can see video and all the comments here:

Watch it on the browser page and not on an app.

I'm all for viewing concept art and listening/reading about how hey designed the game but...yeah not like this. It feels to me that the entire team has lost faith in their product prior or just after TTK and have regret having started it. Yet maybe they can't due to Activision due to it cracking the whip and demanding more content that was cut up into three DLC. Love the game but I'm not sure if the developers do anymore.

4 RepliesNewest destiny montage up on my channel. Please feel free to go check it out and help me out. :)

The Division is starting to look better than BungieVi$ion

1 ReplyI find it extremely bad placed ride along timing wise... They should have started this streaming series with showing of new stuff... And then discuss the design and development behind the new content, but it is what it is... Some pieces of background info were interesting imo and ATLEAST Bungie is trying to do something. I would love to see and hear more about the design works, but the two guys there seemed more bored then the Destiny cummunity atm lol. Were ppl pulling sticks and the one who lost had to do the Ride along? There is just so many anger and questions left not answered and you poke the hornets nest with showing off content that people played trough a milion times? Bungie, c'mon....
-
Agreed!
-
I have no idea what part of them thought this would be interesting so long after release. It's starting to reek of desperation.
-
Bungie sound as bored as us
-
I was ready to 'ride along'. Had my character equipped with Full SRL gear, then I remembered, No Sparrows Allowed on the Dreadnaught, so I watched TV instead. LMFAO. Took Benadryl to get rid of that annoying Twitch!

4 RepliesEdited by dodgedude76: 3/3/2016 1:21:52 AMI could not watch it. I was asleep. It would be nice to have it on the site as a video.

2 RepliesI didn't watch the stream it is actually a great idea the streaming part but streaming 6 month old content lol come on now.
-
They added pve content so long ago they are proposing a tour like in a ducking museum. That's how old it is!!!

15 RepliesThis is why I love the forums. The desticles that try so hard to defend Bungie is pure gold.

I play Destiny quite a lot, these ride along streams do not interest me at all. The Dreadnought is probably the dullest location in the whole game to patrol. The "patrol the Dreadnought" bounty is the one bounty I never purposely complete, it'll get done as I do a strike or help someone on a quest. It all just looks like cheap filler from community managers trying to justify their jobs. Maybe for next weeks piece they can find the voice actress for an in-game character who can give us some insight on acting for a video game. The week after we can have a focus on a twitch streamer that nobody gives a -blam!- about. Before Iron Banner we can have an article telling us how important it is to be in a clan. I still play, it's a good game, but seriously Deej, Cosmo get some help, quit, do something.
-
8 RepliesThe division is so boring though. How does a boring game help with destiny being run by a bunch of fat idiots? Y'all trash for hyping the division. It doesn't help that destiny is a dead husk of potential.
-
I'm sure they saw my comment about DCUO live streaming years back and how good it was, but it these lot were never going to be able to replicate it.. They might as well just say "we've got one more DLC & then this game can kick rocks and it's on to Destiny 2". Too many great games coming out this year, The Division & Uncharted are the big ones for some players, but I know personally The Division was a bore, and Uncharted is just a bad version of Tomb Raider, so I'm waiting for Dark Souls 3, No Mans Sky, Horizon, GT Sport, Last guardian , UFC 2 , Doom & many more,. Also gonna try out that Smite game on PS4 right now, looks pretty sweet.

4 RepliesThis was a ride along with a couple of people who helped create TTK. It wasn't supposed to be a reveal or contain information on what's coming up. I thought it was pretty cool to hear some of the thoughts that went behind creating the dreadnaught. I remember a few months back Luke Smith did an interview that explained the design process for VoG and I found that to be really interesting even though the content had been out for over a year at that point. I'm not saying I wouldn't love to hear what's next for destiny or the new experiences they have in store for us but I didn't expect it from this ride along stream. Bungie is trying something new and giving the community a look into their world. Everything doesn't have to be about what's coming up next or the next dlc.
Maybe it's the stress of having too many lapdances, or too much coke?
lol, thats the part that got me! thank you
-
Anything Bungie does now is embarrassing tbh
-
I have to agree with the basic premise. This dreadnaught ride along is AT LEAST 4 months too late. In gaming years the dreadnaught is already 14 f@ckin years ago artwork? yea , interested... when it was RELEASED. You want our attention? Release some ARTWORK from the next PvE update. Seriously..... were not interested in ride alongs on what you were working on over six months ago

5 RepliesDidn't watch it live. What did the comments say?

4 RepliesEdited by RickyEredia: 3/3/2016 7:28:41 AMPeople need to accept the fact that BUNGIE is lacking on support for the game. Destiny is good but could've been an amazing game if Bungie truly listen to its community and care for the game. Now EA just announced they make 1.3 billion off DLC. Just imagine what Bungie makes constantly letting us down over and over again with hardly any updates feeds? Honestly I think that's all they've care about is making money and hardly any for the game. We got Luke posting tweets on Twitter not even about the game and criticizing other topics. We got updates about last week updates. If you want a companies that cares about its community there's Ubisoft/ Bethesda/ 343. And that's why Iam looking forward to The Division / Fallout DLC until IF Bungie steps up.
-
Clearly you missed the point of what they were doing.
-
1 ReplyYou haven't played since year 1. Shut up before you make yourself look stupid. -_-

4 RepliesIn other news: The Division was lame after 2 hours. I canceled my preorder and will wait for Destiny 2.
