Why does bungie ENCOURAGE cheating?
Because they dont care and they want cheaters money too. By not doing anything about it...they are inviting people to cheat.

1 ReplyIt's been said before but deserves repeating. The only thing companies like Bungie and Activision will listen to is if we the consumer stop giving them our money. It's that simple. They don't care about the community or the player base. If a player(s) leaves for another game then they just fire up the hype machine and get new players. Just turn it off. Find a new game. Plenty of excellent games put there to satisfy whatever you are into. You like shooters there is Blk Ops3,R6 Siege with Overwatch and Battleborn coming soon and The Division a mere week away. You like Rpg's try The Witcher3 or Dragons Age. But this is the only thing that Bungie/Activision will pay attention to the all mighty bottom line in their ledger,not the whims and whimpers of disgruntled players.

8 RepliesIt, imo, would honestly be a little ignorant to say that a corporation as big as Bungie or activision is encouraging cheating. There will always be hackers and cheaters out there, are they doing everything possible to fix the problem as best they can? I don't think so, but they are doing something and you can do something. Report them. It's immature to blame cheating on the gaming company themselves, rather than blaming the people who do it, because I really doubt that they're literally inadvertently encouraging cheaters and its a little harsh to think so.

1 ReplyThey really don't give a -blam!-. Trials of osiris is the biggest example of this culture they created. All we can do is voice our disapproval with as many people as possible, and hopefully the important people in the company. The sad thing is, they are actually losing business and play time because of how they handle (or don't) corrupt systems, and how they set them up in the first place. BTW, they have Cozmo, who is totally brainless, and clueless, who probably couldn't handle minimum wage responsibility; as their forum moderator and spokesperson. That says it all.

8 RepliesYeah, they're cheating by making themselves invincible...but only against you! And then they're ignoring you for the rest of the match just to mess with you! Seriously dude, it looks like there was just some kind of problem with your connection. I'm assuming the game didn't register as you being there and the enemy team couldn't even see you. Otherwise I'm guessing that titan wouldn't have let you smash him in the head 5 times and would've just killed you instead.

Bad enough the loot drops and gear in IB are a joke now, when you used to be able to land raid level stuff from Saladin, but having to deal with THIS nonsense is absurd
